    Conveniently located at the end of the Colonial Zone and next to a main road for people who wish to use Uber a lot to move in and out of the Colonial Zone. Room was smaller than expected, but still functional for one person with a nice bed, small closet and small bathroom. The water pressure is strong because shower head is small and the water heats up after a couple of minutes. Toilet draining was great. You are given only one clean towel per day (as a solo traveler). AC worked well and I liked having a cealing fan. I didn't use the TV. Everything looked clean, but old, so there was no window or ventilation in the bathroom. Beware of not getting a room under the generator because the noise and vibrations will be uncomfortable if you get one of those rooms and the power goes out. The power outlets worked, but the one closest to the bed might need a long cable. There was a small fridge that was disconnected and I didn't use it. Staff is nice. Check-in was quick. You have to ring a bell for them to let you in every time, but there's always someone there in the lobby; even at 3am, it didn't take more than a couple seconds for them to open the main door to the hotel stairs. Breakfast was nice in a small restaurant space with scrambled eggs, boiled potatoes, fried salami, coffee, juice, some sweet cookies, bread slices, ham and cheese sandwiches you could heat up on a toaster, fruits such as pineapple, peach, watermelon. Breakfast open 8am-10am.

    This hotel is in a fantastic location — just a short walk to Central Park, where there are plenty of great bars and restaurants to explore. There’s even a 24-hour bar nearby, which was super convenient. The place is clean, comfortable, and offers good basic breakfast options. For the price, it’s excellent value for money. There’s no on-site parking, but street parking is available close to the hotel, which worked out fine for us. Overall, a great stay — highly recommended!

    Es un hotel que brinda lo necesario para pasar la noche. La ubicacion es muy buena, se puede ir caminando a varios lugares historicos de Sto Domingo. Estuvimos hospedados en una habitacion en donde la reguera de la ducha estaba malograda. Nos dijeron que enviarian a alguien a arreglar, pero nunca pasó eso. Si lo que buscas es algo básico. Este hotel no esta mal.
