Cartari, Renaissance flat a few steps from piazza Navona and Vatican

This is a beautiful classic Roman apartment in a 500 year old building a short walk from Campo dei Fiori and Piazza Navona. The Vatican and river are also close. Unlike a lot of Rome accommodation this apartment is quite quiet as all the windows just face a central courtyard- this means there is not much view and it may be dark in winter, but we were happy with it being a quiet sanctuary. It has a tiny kitchen but it was enough for us to cook a meal and for breakfast. It is really secure. You are on an upper floor and all windows face the secure internal courtyard.

1. The main room and bedroom have air conditioners but they are quite noisy (inside the apartment and for the neighbours) and someone in the building leaves a note every morning to ask you not to use them over night due to the noise. We tried not using them one night and were really hot, so used them other nights - it was a heatwave in Rome when we visited in late June. 2. The tall people in our group If (6’2 and taller) hit their head on low door frames - but this is a common problem for us in Italy. 3. It would be good to add a shower curtain and lip to the shower as water easily gets in the floor. The bathroom (which has the only toilet) has no window and the exhaust fan is not very strong. 4. There is no clothes washing machine. 5. You are far from the metro.

Die Lage ist top. Die Wohnung hat einen besonderen Charme, auch wenn sie nicht sonnendurchflutet ist. Im Hochsommer wahrscheinlich sehr von Vorteil. Eine Klimaanlage ist aber ebenfalls verbaut. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Nahverkehr bestehen mit sehr kurzen Wegen. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß von hier aus zu erreichen.

El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado, si bien la zona no parece céntrica está rodeado de una infinidad de cafes y restaurantes, tiendas, transporte publico. 5 min a pie del Campo de Fiori o 10 min al Panteón Excelente comunicación con el anfitrión

Poca iluminación Baño grande pero antiguo con algunas cosas rotas
