Great accomadition but the host absolutely made our weekend special.

Clean and tidy. Lovely and warm. But our Host was not a just a super host, but the single best host we have ever stayed with. Nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble. Small gestures made our weekend fantastic. Cannot wait to visit Galway again because we know where we are staying.

Wonderful. I wish we would have stayed with him the whole time

This was our best stay! Ronnie met us when we arrived to give us the keys for our stay. He also provided us with fresh pie and homemade ice cream once we arrived. He then gave us a map and an outline of things to see/do in the area. We got up the next day early and hit the streets with our map, but first he had a continental breakfast laid out for us. Ronnie is an amazing host and I would recommend him 1000 times over for a stay in the Galway area.

An excellent base from which to tour Galway following Ronnie's superb recommendations.

We were a couple with a rental car, driving around Ireland. Galway was our first stop after landing in Dublin. The room was exactly as described. However, Ronald the host, is exceptional. He greeted us with key and a slice of pie, and after asking us about our sightseeing interests, gave us detailed guidance for two separate days of itineraries, and some dining recommendations. The itineraries on each day were excellent - a perfect fit for what we wanted to do, and the dining recommendations were spot on for what we wanted. The room and bath were fit for purpose - we made the most of our stay thanks to Ronald's excellent recommendations.

It is a room in a private house, albeit with its own entrance. It is not a distinct standalone apartment. For the short stay we had, this was not particularly bothersome, but we probably wouldn't have stayed an extended period of time (like 4-5 days).

Incredibly beautiful and incredibly polite

It was a beautiful experience with a lovely host who was an amazing addition to our holiday. We loved every minute of Galway and managed to stay on track and not get lost due to the incredible owner. He helped us with locations and the best places to see so that we could get the most out of our stay. We will 100% be coming back to visit our now friend Ronnie. The room itself was beautiful and clean and warm. The whole house was incredibly beautiful and we felt right at home from the moment we entered the property. The surrounding area is perfect for some quiet time away from the city but is still close enough to the city centre. If you are coming to Galway for more than a couple of days then I highly suggest hiring a car as taxis can be quite expensive. But overall we had a fantastic time and met incredible people on our little journey. We miss Galway and the house already! We will be back very soon!

A gem of a find! Great host, great location and comfortable accommodation. We'll be back!

We were greeted by our friendly host with a slice of fresh apple tart and ice cream. He also gave us a generous hamper for our day out! Rooms were spacious and bright. The beds were very comfortable. The accommodation is situated a short drive from Galway city in a quiet country setting. The nearby pub/restaurant recommended by our host was very good and reasonably priced.

The shower screen and shower head needs a little attention to prevent a flood in the bathroom. Navigating the local roads can be difficult at night if your eyesight isn't so good.

The place is quiet and clean. It has a comfortable bed and great shower. Ronnie is by far the best host I have ever met, he is genuinely kind and helpful. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic apartment with a helpful and attentive host - you won't find better in the area!

It's a lovely, modern apartment in a quiet setting. The host greeted me on arrival and showed me all I needed to know. The love and attention is evident from the decor and the apartment was immaculately clean. It's the little things like fresh milk, fresh apple pie, self-serve snacks, plenty of tea/coffee, and bottled water that sets this host apart from others. Definitely would stay again. Thanks for everything Ronnie!

An excellent host and beautiful property

Our host was a very friendly man. After our arrival, he brought us in a nice bowl of apple pie and ice cream. He also recommended to us a local restaurant to dine in. He kept in touch with us by text before we arrived and even after we left he again texted to thanks us for staying in his property. He made a great effort with milk and orange juice in the fridge and cereal for our breakfast. Lovely bedroom with comfortable heating.

Excellent for a two night stay. Superhost Ronnie has covered every wee detail . Very clean and a really comfortable bed. Microwave , fridge and Nespresso machine a great bonus. Lovely seating area outside but unfortunately too wet to use much - but could imagine eating breakfast there in the sun. Safe parking and very convenient to Galway and Salthill. Private access with our own key was great so we could come and go as we pleased. Ronnie always on hand if needed but respected our privacy too and kept us well supplied with bottles of water.

Loved everything about our stay here One wee suggestion - a wee pot of ham to use with the breakfast croissants would be nice.

A home away from home!

Ronnie has been one of the best hosts we've had on our 3-week travel through Ireland. The booking was rather spontaneous and Ronnie was extremely responsive. He keeps a incredibly tidy home inside and out and his house is situated in a very quiet neighborhood. The level of detail he puts into being a host made us feel welcome and home from the first second. The room has a big flat screen with Sky+, a very comfy bed, a nice bathroom and also a fridge and coffee station, so basically everything one might need. After arriving Ronnie and I exchanged numbers and for any questions I could simply text him. He helped in minutes always and also recommended a brilliant tour thorugh the County, which helped us to get the most out ouf our time there. Whenever we'll be back in the area, we make sure to book a room with Ronnie! :)

The room had everything that you could want and more. The host Ronnie had thought of everything. The fridge and microwave were very welcome as well as all the breakfast goodies. We were met with apple pie and ice-cream and fruit cake given for us to take with us on our journeys. There was nothing he would not do for you and very knowledgeable about where to go. The en-suit room was exceptionally clean and decorated with great taste. Do not hesitate in staying at this lovely place with an exceptional host. Thank you Ronnie for everything

Exceptional place with every little detail covered. Warm, spacious, spotless while still feeling like home. The host needs a higher score than 10. We have never felt more at home in a place. A bottle of wine and chocolates were waiting when we arrived. A quiet knock on the door and there are fresh, homemade mince pies left outside. We came home that night to a box with (homemade) blueberry muffins outside the door! Exceptional and welcoming house (home) without being intrusive. One of the best experiences I've had with a property on Booking.com. Highly recommend

The area was nice and quiet. Very scenic. The owner is very lovely and hospitable, and made our stay incredibly enjoyable. He even offered to drive us a few times as we did not bring our car.

If you don't have a car there is little to no transportation towards the main town. However if you don't mind walking, there is a bus stop about 40 minutes away.

The coffee machine and breakfast facilities were ultra cramped. on a day when is dry this is less of an issue as there is a great table outside but we struggled to make tea and coffee without small spills on the work surface which marked in seconds.. I suspect it cleaned up fine after we left but it was mildly embarrassing not being able to leave things as perfect as we found them

Loved how the property is nestle in a beautiful neighborhood surrounded by gardens and beautiful trees just 10 mins from Galway City Center. The private entrance and ample parking is also a plus. The accommodation is very, very spacious and has everything you need to start your day before sightseeing. Loved it!
