Struttura pulita e in buona posizione, anche se difficile da raggiungere seguendo le indicazioni sulla mappa. Consigliamo di contattare i proprietari con un certo anticipo prima di arrivare . Tutto sommato il soggiorno e’ stato piacevole
Comunicare e’ stato un po’ difficile. Siamo stati avvisati solo dopo il nostro arrivo che era necessario chiamare mezz’ora prima di arrivare per trovare qualcuno a casa. Siamo comunque riusciti a metterci in contatto con i proprietari che sono stati gentili e hanno fatto il check in

The location was great and there was the added bonus of free parking. We literally just needed a place to put our heads down for a few hours before leaving again so the price was attractive.
- €20 extra for checking in outside of the 3 hour check-in window. 4-7pm. Sent numerous texts to remind me of late fee.
- Rudely asked to take off our shoes as we walked in the door.
- A little awkward to find.
- Given a contact number but explicitly told to use it only in absolute emergency.
- Shared bathroom with Cat's litter tray.
- Given a key but door was left off the latch all night. (Possibly for other flatmate?)
I let the host know that we were traveling a lot the day of arrival (from Tipp to Dublin then on to Galway) and wouldn't arrive until approx 7.30pm. We arrived at 7.45pm. I know that the host was home either way plus I had booked weeks in advance. Admittedly I didn't read through the finer details of the booking, however, the late arrival penalty fee is highly unusual. When arrival time was definite I let the host know. I was then sent a list of house rules and made aware of the extra €20 before arrival.
Honestly, I would have paid €50 extra to stay in a more professionally run establishment. It felt to me that the host was doing us a favour, that we were an inconvenience.
We were looking forward to our stay and meeting old friends. I was apprehensive having paid before arrival and was unable to cancel.
I think this late fee gives a bad first impression. If a more welcoming and friendlier approach was taken initially, I probably wouldn't have such a negative response. It just felt like my money was more important than I was. Perhaps the host had bad experiences with previous guests??
