The townhouse dates back to 1735, so naturally, it’s brimming with history, which carefully blends with modern amenities and charming furniture. We especially love the pastels palette and the charismatic striped wallpaper that reminds us a little of the traditional Danish candy, bolsjer. Perfect for a family, this home places you right in the heart of Copenhagen – Strøget is nearby, and so is Kongens Have and Rosenborg Castle.

*This home is split across four levels – be prepared for a lot of up and down
*Tall people be aware – the shower in bathroom one is only 195 cm tall
*Watch your heads – this is an old house from the 18th-century, ceilings can be low
*Since the photoshoot, bedrooms one and two have been updated with double beds
*Bedroom three is clearly set up and designed for children with plenty of toys, colours, and a pull-out bed
*This is a lived-in home, expect to share the space with a lot of the hosts’ belongings
