And did we mention, you can be on the beach in one to two minutes? The outdoorsy type and those fond of watersports are in for a treat as the island's best surfing spot is two minutes away at Gansey beach, where you'll also have free reign to go kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. Once you've worked up an appetite at the beach, walk another two minutes to The Shore Hotel for some proper pub grub in true seaside style – that means fish and chips are given. With the seaside villages of Port Erin and Port St Mary, also just a five-minute drive away, you'll gain a real taste of the Isle of Man by the sea.
