Fantastic location, sleeping facilities need improvement.
The location is excellent and resort facilities really good. The caravan lounge is spacious and cooking facilities and fridge etc all in good working order. Communication with the owner excellent and helpful.
Having reassessed the previous reviews we would agree that the double bed mattress is not comfortable, the single beds in the smaller bedroom do not suit teenagers and the fold out bed in the lounge in not comfortable at all. The shower mixer is stiff and takes strong effort to ensure water temperature is suitable and not too hot.

A straightforward stopover in easy reach of Aberystwyth. Easy to find and check-in
It was just a stopover for us but the caravan had everything we needed and communication from the owner was prompt. The park was quiet at night and we slept well. I can’t comment on the park facilities as we didn’t use them but we did get a welcome e-mail from the Vale site should we have wanted to. I did walk to the beach at Clarach Bay but took the longer road route. It would have only been a few minutes through the park itself. Lovely hill views all around.
The Welsh weather wasn’t playing ball but otherwise all was fine.

Overall a good stay
The contact from the host prior to our stay was fabulous and gave us plenty of time to plan and instructions for when we arrive. The caravan was great value for money and the decking area was lovely! The site is great with all you need with a family. The beach is fantastic with lots of entertainment from the arcade, funfair, supermarket and plenty of food and drink choices. The swimming was great too. Lovely trip out close-by to Aberystwyth, beautiful place. The kids had lots of fun over the 3 days spent here.
The caravan itself was a little tired (doors peeling and slightly sticky and cooking facilities not the greatest) but overall great value for money. The shower was either very hot or just hot and couldn't be adjusted to a cool temperature which was tricky with children and hot weather out. Nothing major though and overall a good stay. Would return most definitely!

Very homely and clean.
Not so much didn't like just a suggestion - I think a bathmat in the bathroom would really help when getting out of the shower. ☺️. Another suggestion - maybe directions for the shower as it wasn't the easiest to navigate and ended up with only very hot showers. But nothing we didn't like. ☺️

Home away from home!
Me, my partner and our 19 month old son had a lovely time at Gloria Stay. The caravan had everything we needed; cooking utensils, all cleaning supplies, washing up liquid, a variety of condiments, iron & ironing board, microwave etc. it was like a home away from home. The beds were comfy, it was nice and clean and very cozy and warm. The location was good and perfect for little ones with parks. We didn’t use the facilities within the site such as the swimming pool etc so I can’t comment on those. We will definitely visit again in the future!
We couldn’t adjust the temperature of the shower to a cooler setting so it was quite difficult to give our son a shower.
