Everything you need.

The apartment was amazing,you had everything you needed. The apartment is equipped for guests who have a disability. It has hand rails in the bathroom and in the second WC, and also hand rails in the shower, which was very useful for us. The views from the apartment were breathtaking and sitting outside in the communal garden watching the boats and listening to the sound of the sea it was so relaxing. We could not have asked for better accommodation it was perfect for us. Once we arrived at the apartment, we really did not need a car,everything you needed, i.e., shops ,restaurants ,tea shops, beach were walking distance. We got to meet Natalie, who owns the apartment. She is very professional, friendly, and very helpful and will help you with any questions you may have regarding the apartment. We were definitely very lucky to have found this little gem. We will definitely be back.

Great location, very clean, comfortable, disability accessible and right next to everything. parked the cars in spaces provided and never moved it as the train and shops were 2-5mins away. Food, amusments, and beach are 3 steps away. hostess is very friendly and helpful.. we'll definitely be back 5☆

The location was excellent

Told by the owner the property would be heated prior to arrival, not only was it freezing cold, the place had had no heating for a long time, walls and floors were freezing! after an hour the radiators were still cold and I had to bleed the air out of the system, with a conveniently placed radiator key, left on the side in the kitchen( I suspect this has happened before) Then the heating went off at night, so woke up to a cold flat again. Don’t be fooled by the description saying 2 bathrooms, it has one shower room, and a small separate toilet room.

Comfortable apartment in a great location

The apartment was very comfortable and accessible for our family with two wheelchair users. The provision of a ramp and a shower stool was really helpful. Although there is a step into the shower it was manageable for our mothers with the use of mobility half-steps. The location and views are superb, being in town and yet on the coastal path. It was easy to push our mothers in their wheelchairs to the many cafes and eateries in town. For us it was a pleasant walk along the coast to Durlston Country Park and castle with spectacular views. It was enthralling to watch the waves from most of the windows in the apartment and relaxing to hear them at night. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The beds are very comfortable. Natalie is a great communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a very enjoyable time and would love to go back.

Best Of The Best, for many reasons

Excellent location - I’m retired, and I was with my very old parents. So town centre location and on-the-flat was important. Secure Parking - electronic gated as central Swanage as you can get. Facilities - had everything, thought by owners clearly done, ground floor, could accommodate an entire 3-gen of family, plenty of power sockets for devices, charging cables for those that left cables behind, capsule coffee maker, etc. Good large shower for very old people.

Nothing - I first visited Swanage in the early 70s. Little has changed!.. I saw these apartments being built and always wanted one. Each time I’d visit Swanage I would want to stay in one of them. They were always fully booked. So this was the first time I was fortunate enough for one to be available. I normally stay at Purbeck House or The Limes, both are good, they’re B&Bs rather than self catering apartments, but both are up hills and further out of town. So Quayside I unreservedly highly recommend, especially if you’ve elderly or impaired people.

Location fab, cleanliness poor, host duties lacking!

You can't take away anything from the location, its right on the water front. We found it to be a spacious apartment for 5 adults.

Cleanliness was a major issue, despite there being 3 cleaners on site when we arrived. Bathrooms grimy round the sinks and shower area and was totally shocked at the dirty and soiled bed linen that was suppose to be brand new! When we informed the host, there was a total lack of empathy, even after sending photos of proof (at her request), not even an apology! We were informed that nothing could be done about this for the whole duration of our stay (we were there for 3 nights). One of the single beds has what can only be described as a broken mattress, if you turn over during the night, you will most certainly fall out the bed, there are no springs to support this side of the bed at all. This happened every single night. To add to this, no coffee pods where left out for the coffee machine, no kitchen roll or cloth to use to wipe down anywhere. Also, key pads to retrieve keys were out of action and host didn't even inform us. If we hadn't arrived when the cleaners where there, not sure how we would have been able to get keys to enter the property.

The property is located in the heart of Swanage, with a beautiful view of the sea almost from every room and a terrific courtyard. We had a lovely weekend as a family of seven.

We had some problems with the sockets, not all of them were working with the USB adaptors by the bed.

The waterside location was fantastic and the proximity to the bars/cafes and sea front was great. Easy parking lovely walks , great trips to Durdle Door , Monkey World etc. A great spot.
