Such a lovely and peaceful place! Everything was beautiful and well taken care of. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I was sick, and one of the girls from the staff was so sweet and thoughtful that she brought me some medicine and herbs. I really appreciated her kindness and care. The breakfast was delicious, and the pool was beautiful and very relaxing. I truly enjoyed my stay.

Everything was great overall. I just wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the place even more.

Quiet guest house located in a quiet area outside Essaouira.

We arrived from the airport and rented a car. When we arrived at Tassourt Lodge there was no welcome, apart from the guard or gardener who opened our room and spoke neither French nor English. An icy welcome. The room is quite spacious but the bathroom needs to be redone. Bad smell, rusty pipes, not the best for relaxing. The bed is very hard and we didn't sleep well. It's not a hotel, in fact it's not even a chambre d'hote, there's no desk, no reception, no welcome tea either... everything was very uncomfortable, you almost felt bad or as if you were disturbing someone. We didn't feel like going downtown in the evening, so we decided to eat there, which was really creepy. The food wasn't good at all. Finally, to end our stay we had to pay the price of the room and the lady at reception had no change to give us. We therefore paid more than expected. One word: unprofessional.
