Sa Teulera

Breathtaking view, atmospheric historical house. Quiet, nice and peaceful village. Very good location to spent the hoildays in the mountain and it's very good that there is a parking near it!

We had a large suitcase and we needed to leave it in the car on the parking. We took only necessary cloth/staff with us. This is because of location of the house - it's on hill, you need to go up without a car and that's why you need to take only the luggage which you can carry in your hands. There is a possibility that toilet paper will end - be careful :) But luckily we bought it later.

We have visited Fornalutx previously and have always wanted to stay since it is such a lovely village in the mountains. This property has amazing views from all windows and from the lovely terrace. The property is full of character and charm and since the weather was cool we lit the fire in the evening which was very cosy. We really enjoyed being able to walk to lovely cafes and restaurants. Our host was extremely helpful from our 1st communication and always quick to reply. We loved the scent of the orange trees and jasmine and wish we could have bottled it to bring home! We would love to return one day.

It's a great property for the fit and agile maybe a little more difficult for anyone less mobile; access is along a fairly steep cobbled path. There is a deposit payable in advance which was returned quickly. Because the deposit process involved transferring money in Euros and then back from Spain, we incurred an additional 30 EU bank charge on the return transfer. We think the deposit process could be simpler and would be better if charges are not incurred.
