Steps To The Beach, Pacific City and Main Street - #2

The location was great! It was an easy walk to the beach and a couple of blocks from downtown. The premises had everything you need, beach chairs, beach umbrella, carrying cooler, beach towels, extra blankets, regular towels, hairdryer, pots,pans, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The bed was very comfortable, with plenty of pillows.

The bathroom was very small. The shower was challenging. Nearly impossible to shave your legs! I didn’t even try. The parking is also very tight. Better have a rear view car camera to be able to back out of the parking area. The night before we were leaving, I washed our beach towels as well as the towels they had on the premises and the washer did not do a rinse cycle. Towels were soaked. I had to put them in the dryer for almost 2hrs to dry. We traveled with our dog and there was not an area on the property for her to go potty. There is a patch of grass outside of the gate but it had a sign saying “no poop zone” wasn’t sure if that meant pick up after your pet or just don’t let them “go” there… so I had to walk further down the way. Not a huge deal but walking around in the middle of the night when your dog has to go, is a little scary. Just food for thought if traveling with a dog. We were also woken up very early on our 2nd and 3rd morning there, due to a family checking in to a home next door, whose backyard is just outside of the bedroom window. Anything but a relaxing morning.

The outside area, location location location! Friendly owner and quick responses, clean facility. Will def book again.

Location and the little extras.

Needs a little TLC and the cleaning could be improved but the bed linen was spotless and I'd definitely stay again.
