London Choice Apartments - Mayfair - Piccadilly

OMG it was absolutely wonderful! We stayed in the 1st floor apartment (Ground floor leading outside is Floor 0) which had room to breathe and move about. We could adjust the temperature in the bedroom (cooler) vs. the living room area (warmer). The chair and sofa were very cushy and plush (see napping hubby in photo). We stayed the week right before the insane heatwave hit in mid-May. It was a bit chilly on some days but lovely weather overall. As "spoiled" Americans, A/C was integral to our comfort so the temperature control was spot on. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of closet space for our things. The kitchenette was wonderful for endless cups of all the tea we bought. The water pressure from the rainfall shower was pleasant and the water temperature was consistent. I would say that while the window ledge sufficed in a pinch, a little table or shelf next to the bathroom sink for beauty products would make it perfect. The elevator fit us both comfortably (teeny tiny elevators are a thing in Europe I was told and they weren't kidding). Although I will say this elevator was bigger than the one in the Paris hotel we stayed in. I used the iron and ironing board and they were top notch. We didn't use the stove but did run the dishwasher to clean our cups and utensils. The neighborhood was quite nice and close to transportation so we took the tube everywhere. Our first time to London could only have been greater if we'd lunched with Prince William and Cynthia Erivo.

We wish they could have been a little more flexible on the check-in time. We arrived early and had to hang out at the Eurostar station to kill time before being able to drop off our luggage, but only because it was too expensive to change to a later train once we found out that early check-in wasn't possible. However we did take pics at the Harry Potter station so it wasn't the worst thing to have to wait, we were just a bit fatigued. We did finally meet up with the property manager Bobby for the keys later after our afternoon tea which was also a welcome respite.

Location is great! Ease of access to transport & tourist attractions. Air conditioning in hot summer is a blessing! Fully equipped kitchen.

Needs some TLC, it seems the apt has been rented for some time and lacks finesse. Small details matter … More hooks in rooms etc for towels, TV is very small, more glasses, cups. Cleaning team can also be little more attentive!

The apartment was a great find. We normally stay in other areas of London, but being conveniently close to Piccadilly was really nice. The apartment is compact but is a good size and layout for a couple and we were very pleased. We would certainly consider staying here again.

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment, it's clean and comfortable, everything you need in a great location. £300 deposit and ID required on check it but it was refunded quickly following check out, just saying that because I haven't had to do that anywhere else but it was fine.
