Compact and tidy, has all necessary things (even adapter for EU type of plug!), and the location is quite good as well. The host wasn’t there but explained everything in detail via WhatsApp and send his friend/neighbour who was very kind to us and pick up us, showed things around and gave very useful tips re. Travelling in Kenya.

Very friendly hosts and location

Das Apartment bietet alles, was man braucht auf kleinem Raum. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage und ein Moskitonetz (was aber leider ein Loch hatte), Kühlschrank, genug Geschirr und Besteck. Der Host war sehr nett und gut erreichbar. Vor der Tür fahren häufig Tuktuks, die man nehmen kann. Das Bett war sehr sauber.

Die Ausstattung ist zum Teil etwas veraltet. Die Rohre im Bad müssten vor allem erneuert werden. Es funktioniert aber alles. Das Moskitonetz hatte leider ein handflächengroßes Loch. Ein Geschirrtuch hat gefehlt. Das Handtuch, was vorhanden war, war gewaschen, aber hatte ein paar hartnäckige Flecken und ein Loch. Als alleinreisende weiße Frau war die Gegend etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da sich das Apartment in einem zurückgesetzten Hof befindet und keine richtige Adresse oder Sicherheitspersonal hat, aber es gab keine bedrohliche Situationen.

L'hôte est très sympathique. Il a accepté de faire le check-in plus tôt que prévu et nous a donné toutes les informations nécessaires pour notre séjour à Mombasa. L'appartement est très bien équipé. Le balcon est agréable et il y a des cordes pour y faire sécher ses affaires. La cuisine a tout pour se préparer de bons petits plats. Le quartier est bien, proche de petits magasins et banque, la vieille ville et un mall sont facilement accessibles en tuktuk.

L'appartement est un peu petit si vous voulez rester plus que 2/3 jours. Il y a quelques petits cafards dans la cuisine. L'appartement se trouve sur l'île, donc assez éloigné des plages.
