Hawthorn Lodge

The park is quiet and relaxing The home was large and spacious in a nice position. Lovely and warm , heating was great. Perfect to have a washer in the home, too. Nice crockery. We had a brill time and was made welcome in the restaurant. In the grounds

I'm just picking here ! Microwave wouldn't work Had to use pans to heat milk / more pans would be handy Suggest an airfryer / washing line , the carpet needs a clean , one side of the sofa seems broken And bedding could be ironed and towels tumbled dried . With these points addressed, I'd have stated amazing 👏 just a few things that made cooking dinner for 5 of us more difficult x may be a better shower head . It is also stressful to find the home in the dark without a map .

Host was brilliant, friendly and accessible. The facilities in the lodge were clean and in great condition. Good amount of essential items, all that was promised and more.

The space inside was limited. If there were 6 people staying there, the twin room sizes would have felt very cramped, and 1 shower wouldn't have been enough. The lodge was also located only a hedge away from the M6 and a low hum backdground noise. However, I know that we chose the lodge like this, and the price reflected these things.

The Lodge was lovely, we had a fantastic time

Nothing

great location for day trips around the lakes and lovely cabin
