Beautiful garden Private Comfortable

Very central But no pub in walking distance

It is a very nice clean room with en-suite bathroom and mini kitchen. I wouldn’t like to cook a whole meal in it but it’s good for a base to explore from. Lovely private view of the garden, a part of which was private for the B&B. The owners house is connected and the kitchen is normally their boot room, but if my boot room looked as clean, I’d be thrilled! The entrance to the property is on a very blind corner on a busy road, not ideal but the road is far enough away from the house to make it quiet. There is a foot path behind the back of the house to the centre of the old village but there seems to be a lack of decent walks from the property. Reasonably powerful shower and nice fluffy towels with soap and a vanity kit and shower cap available for use but not shampoo. Found a small snake quished on the drive which was interesting.

The path to the property is very sloping and when damp becomes extremely slippery, to be fair there is a sign warning you of this but I still managed to go flat on my bum from dew on the path and flat soled shoes! I didn’t use the kitchen so can’t comment on that but it seemed very basic.

Great location - like living in a secret garden - very quiet and peaceful. Many interesting places in near car distances.
