La Candida Rosa

The property was amazing and exactly as we needed for a family. It was exceptionally quiet and very comfortable. Carlo was a great host and made sure everything was in order. The location was also fantastic - a great base to explore Florence.

Close to everything - the sights, the train and bus stations and plenty of eating options were nearby. The communication with Carlo our host was first rate. He clearly really cares about the property and that, in turn, meant we did too.

Nothing.

The 2-bedroom apartment is wonderful. It's up one flight of stairs, behind 4 secure doors that require keys, but it's easy (you feel very safe), and facing the inner courtyard of the building so it's VERY quiet. We had the windows open at night (they have bug screens on the window which is great) and we could not hear the street noise in Florence at all. There are air conditioners in every room, if needed as well and they work great. The bathroom is quite small, but sufficient and clean. This is a family apartment that has been cared for with love. It became a respite for us every evening after long days discovering Florence. Carlo is a wonderful, kind, helpful host. If we ever return to Florence, you can be assured we will stay here!

The hallway inside the building to the apartment wasn't kept very clean and didn't smell great, but that isn't the apartment owner's fault. It might be good to have a little soap/shampoo in the bathroom, but again, that's being picky. People should bring their own supplies. There really isn't anything to complain about with this place. We loved it!

Comfy, light and airy. Quiet and cool from the city heat. Well equipped kitchen area. Very comfy mattress. Carlo manager met us on arrival and helped with cases. Really helpful with advice and quick responding to messages and booked us a taxi for last day.

We loved it but wouldn’t suit anyone with accessibility needs as 3 flights steps.
