Dog-Friendly Lakefront Escape w Brand New Decking

The communication from the host was great updating me to say we could check in earlier if we wanted. The cake left was a lovely touch, thank you. The location is perfect and the view on the lake was picturesque. Decorated nicely, the kitchen is fully equipped. Large modern TV and great WiFi connection.

Whilst I appreciate that it is a dog friendly house (I had two with me) I felt the sofa's needed updating as they lacked cushion support. (well used) With 5 adults, 1 child staying having the use of one shower downstairs wasn't ideal. The overhead shower hose in the bathroom needs a fitting attached and a shower curtain so that it could be used as a second shower. Also the plug hole in the bath needs replacing is rusting. A couple of the mattresses may need replacing as we could feel the springs.

It’s getting a little tired and maybe in need of a revamp with some facilities.

The location is beautiful, we were there on a sunny weekend and it was lovely to sit on the decking and enjoy the view of the lake Hosts were great and we were given suggestions for dinner etc South Cerney is about a 20 minute walk and we went out for dinner in the village, really easy walk Lots of activities local like paddle boarding, waterpark and kayaking the outdoor space is brilliant and the main bedroom has a great view Beds were comfy, there was 5 of us but would have been able to fit 6 people TV has Netflix etc so you can watch movies

The bathroom is a little small and dated but it does the job
