Clean, quite, good location

Could do with a little maintenance; oil the door hinges and fix the toilet seat for starters.

Really enjoyed our time at Holyhome105. The apartment was lovely and clean. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was excellent (although the shower screen could do with being a bit wider to prevent water splashing onto the bathroom floor). There was a hairdyer and toilet rolls provided. Bedroom was nice with good storage, lots of coathangers, a fan and a safe for valuables. The bedding was lovely and fresh and the beds had memory foam mattresses which were really comfy. Really liked that pool towels, a coolbox and beach chairs were provided for use. The kitchen was well equipped with a washing m/c, microwave, coffee machine (with pods), a kettle and toaster. There was enough crockery and cooking utensils, and nice that it was stocked with essentials like a bottle of water, condiments, bin bags, washing-up liquid, teatowel and dishcloth. The furniture in the living area was was a bit tired but more than adequate. The TV had netflix and sky news (but not many other English channels). There was an extension cable, throws and a small selection of books/magazines/cards provided. The pool area was ok, but the pool did look quite dirty when we first arrived. However, it was cleaned twice during the week, which was was good, and the gardens/bins were also cleared. The complex is located in a nice quiet area, with a few bars and shops on the doorstep and a wider range within easy walking distance. The beach is less than a 10minute walk away and its roughly 20min walk up into the main square. Would definitely recommend Cactus Jack's opposite the complex for cheap drinks and great evening entertainment.

There was a distinct lack of sunbeds around the pool for the number of apts (only 12 sunbeds and a lot were broken). The apartment was a bit cold at times, so we were glad to have the throws provided, and because the balcony was north facing it didnt get any sun at all during daylight hours so was quite cool when sitting out. I know this wouldn't be a problem during summer, but it makes a big difference in the winter months. Also for late night departures, it's a shame that the complex didn't have a communal toilet/changing facility to access once checked out. We were offered use of the cleaners locked room in reception for storing luggage, but was unsure who had access so decided not to use with it being unmanned. Whilst we really liked the apartment, we were very disappointed that the pictures on booking.com were not of the actual apartment. The owner, Kristel, has several apartments on this complex and she seems to be using the same pictures for multiple listings, making it difficult to understand the difference in prices, and difficult to know the apartments location on the complex and what level of decor you are actually getting. Communications with Kristal were also often slow and a few times she didn't respond at all. All of the automated responses are sent quickly but personal replies less so!
