Marfolin 36: the best sunset in El Cotillo

Beautiful views of beach from a very well appointed apartment. Easy walk into Cotillo town. Lots of restaurant choice. Excellent support and communication from property manager. View unbeatable and glorious.

Proximity to construction site, very noisy during the day but in spite of the noise, elected to stay as difficult to source similar standard of property or views anywhere else on the island.

Marfolin 36 is in a wonderful location right on the beach with views across the sea. New Year's Day was a treat… Stepping out of the apartment straight onto the sand for a swim in one of the crystal clear, blue bays was memorable. The apartment is very clean and the beds are incredibly comfortable and large! There is a lot of space and the upstairs balcony (which we did not use that much as it was quite windy) would be a very private and useful place in warmer weather. Marisa was a very easy and friendly host to communicate with and we were very grateful that her friend Flor waited up for us to let us into the apartment as we had been delayed en route out. The large outdoor pool was not heated (it was December!) but I swam every evening… It just depends how hardy you are! There was building work going on opposite but I think this is due to stop soon. There is a lively bar below the property but it closes very promptly at around 11 pm and after that it is very peaceful. El Cotillo now boasts some fantastic restaurants such as La Oliva Corsa which need to be booked in advance during high season. It has the unique advantage of having both still, sheltered bays and larger beautiful surfing beaches very close by such as Esquinoza. We rented off-road bikes and had a great trip going round the sandy tracks leading to Corallejo. You could not be better located in El Cotillo; we look forward to returning!
