Meryl & Carl were brilliant hosts! Very friendly from the moment I booked the hotel to the moment we left. Beautiful home with fabulous facilities, super clean and amazing value for money!

It was clean & the owners were very helpful & friendly.

Our room was compact & it was on the main road so we could hear the traffic all the time.

The double room was lovely decorated, clean, very comfortable bed and pillows. We shared a bathroom which was lovely and clean and had a nice shower gel and hand soap and hand towels. Felt very comfortable and safe in this lovely property. Myself and my 13 year old daughter loved our stay. We booked last minute as we were in Cardiff at a Lewis Capaldi concert and decided to visit Barry Island and stay the night as travelled from Scotland. Meryl who owns the property, greeted us and was very friendly and gave lots of recommendations and just lovely all round. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again. Great value for money. Los to do and see in Barry and tge Gavin & Stacey toyr on Daves bus was brilliant. Thanks for a lovely stay Meryl.

Location was good for what we needed. Parking outside was handy. The bed was comfortable. It was what we expected for the price. Had Netflix on tv and tea and coffee set up. Room was decorated nice but needed cleaning properly. Bedding was clean.

Impersonal and could do with a deep clean. Small fridge was off when we arrived and didn’t smell great. Dust on lamps and cupboards had odd and sods left in there. The bed was comfortable but smaller than our bed at home. White blinds look good however it’s so bright in the morning- you need curtains. Didn’t like sharing a bathroom so wouldn’t stay again as the property was full of young lads. Towels were rock hard! Just needs some TLC.
