Farmstay in ചില്ലുകൂടാരം at Les Domki et al.

I just got back from a great stay and wanted to give a shout-out to the caretakers and their family! They cooked us some delicious meals and were incredibly supportive, making us feel right at home. The hospitality was fantastic! Overall, it was a pleasant experience with minimal hassles. The only areas that could use some improvement are the water pressure for the toilets and the condition of the glass windows and lights. A little maintenance would really enhance the stay! I’d definitely consider coming back and would recommend this place to other travelers. Just a heads up: they only accept families, not bachelors. Also, the property is a bit far from Vagamon town, so having a vehicle is a must for getting around. Thanks for a lovely stay!

I wanted to share a few areas that could use some improvement during our stay. The water pressure for the toilets could definitely be better. It would be nice to have cleaned glass doors and windows, and a few of the lights weren’t working. Some basic cutlery and kitchen utensils would be a great addition, as there were none available, along with some gas for cooking. Overall, cleanliness could use a bit of attention, but we did mention this to the caretaker, who assured us they would address these issues soon.

Very secluded and quiet. The caretakers looked after you very well and made a very good breakfast every morning.

The electrics are not working properly, it is very dangerous and needs to be repaired urgently.

A nice stay, secluded in the hills of vagamon. Beautiful hills with tea and cardamom plantations surround the cottage. It was a pleasure to walk in the plantations which were a part of the property which gives good views of the hills around. The cottage was perfect for a small group of friends or a couple, with a fully furnished kitchen and comfortable sleeping arrangements.

The place is a bit far from the town of vagamon and could be tricky to reach if you do not have a personal transport.
