Stay U-nique Apartments Manso

We stayed in this apartment in Barcelona for four days as a family with two young teenagers, and overall we were very satisfied with our experience. Location The location is excellent and one of the biggest advantages of this apartment. It’s about a 15-minute bike ride to both the beach and the city center, and less than 10 minutes walk to the Magic Fountain. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and supermarkets nearby, making it easy to grab food or daily essentials. A metro station is just around the corner (within 2 minutes walking distance), which makes exploring the city very convenient. We mostly used rental bikes, which also worked perfectly. Apartment & Space The apartment is comfortable and reasonably spacious for a family. The bedrooms are not very large, but they offer sufficient storage space. The beds were comfortable—slightly on the firm side, which we personally liked. One of the bedrooms is internal (without direct windows), which could get warm in hotter periods. During our stay (16–18°C), this was not an issue at all. Air conditioning is available, although we didn’t need to use it. The living room is pleasant, with a comfortable sofa and a fully equipped kitchen. While only salt and pepper were provided, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a full meal. Bathroom The bathroom is modern, clean, and well-maintained. The shower works fine, although taller guests (around 1.85 m) may find it a bit low—you’ll need to hold the showerhead to wash comfortably. Cleanliness & Amenities The apartment was generally very clean and well cared for. The smart TV and internet connection both worked perfectly throughout our stay. Noise & Comfort The apartment is located on a relatively busy street, so some street noise is noticeable, especially in the bedroom facing the street. However, we didn’t experience any noise from neighbors.

V ubytování bylo vše potřebené pro příjemný pobyt, vešli jsme se i 4clenna rodina. Vše potřebné na vaření. Místo je úplně suprove situované do metra jen par kroku.

Excellent location, right by the metro and with a great selection of bars and other shops nearby. Bakery across the road was lovely. The apartment was comfortable and well appointed, beds were comfortable, Aircon worked well (it was a heatwave). We heard no noise from other apartments.

For some the stairs might be challenging with luggage. One bedroom was a little small and with no window, it opens via french glazed doors onto the living area. This didn't bother us but may do to some.

The location is good, and the digital keys work well. Communication with the owners is good, but the property is too expensive for what it is.

The apartment was in poor condition and poorly managed. The doors are so stuck you have to kick them to open, and the shower drains so badly the bathroom floods instantly. Even though we booked for three people, we only received bedding for two. To use the washing machine, you have to walk onto an unscreened balcony covered in pigeon droppings. Furthermore, the building has zero soundproofing; we were harassed by a neighbor for "noise" while we weren't even home. Unless you want to whisper and tip-toe your entire trip, avoid this place.
