We had a great stay at casa gardenia and would definitely stay again! My friend and I had a long weekend in Barcelona and this hotel set our holiday up for success. The location is great a lot of cafes near by and a 10 min walk from the nearest metro station and la Rambla. We’re young women so even though at night there seemed to be a lot of men around we felt very safe in the hotel as you have to buzz to get in and there’s a 24hr reception. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel no questions asked before our room was ready and we were able to leave our bags there even after we checked out which was super convenient as we had a late flight home. The rooms are quite small but incredibly clean with lots of facilities like a hair dryer, tooth brush tooth paste shampoo and body wash. The terrace is lovely however the pool is pretty small, roughly a meter deep and about 4 meters long and 2 meters wide but great for a little cool off. The beds were comfortable and they even had ear plugs in the rooms because the walls are pretty thin- both me and my friend are heavy sleepers so it didn’t bother us at all. I have to say for the price and location of this hotel it’s definitely worth it. I’d say this hotel is ideal for a short stay and perfect for young tourists!
