Beautiful spacious light filled apartment with views from every window! Beautiful terrace to relax and look out on the charming rooftops of Riquewihr and birdwatch if you’d like. Quiet and peaceful location while close to all the great restaurants in town and also close to hikes through the vineyards. Loved our stay here, it was so charming and comfortable it felt like home!
We loved keeping the windows open at night for the lovely breezes but the clock tower gongs every 15 minutes all night long. No fault of the apartment and part of the charm of the village. Recommend closing the windows when you are asleep and they keep the noise out ☺️

The apartment is impeccably presented, very comfortable and well-equipped with a beautiful balcony. It's right in the centre of Riquewihr, close to shops, restaurants and attractions.
The only warning I'd give is that it's up three flights of stairs - not a problem for us but could be for others.

The central location of the apartment allowed us to take advantage of the picturesque village infrastructure such as restaurants and shops and sights by just walking outside of our building. We rate staying Riquewihr over any of the neighboring towns due to its charm and compact size - unlike e.g. Ribeauville. A very special trip we recommend is the close-by jardinsdespapillons.fr where you walk through a large greenhouse watching dozens of exotic butterflies flying around you.
The tourist information office only opens from Monday to Wednesday.
The software logic of the parking meters was somewhat obscure, but you can park your car for free outside of the historical inner ring.
Please try to speak french - the shop keepers and waiters will appreciate it, but do not expect them to talk slowly for a foreigner.
