Ca' Canciani

Apartamento amplio, cómodo y con buena ubicación. No funcionaba bien la caldera de agua caliente y lo solucionaron ese mismo día.

Lo peor es la escalera para personas con poca movilidad.

Ca' Canciani è stata un’ottima scelta per il nostro gruppo! L’appartamento è spazioso e luminoso, con stanze ampie, bagni moderni e puliti e una cucina ben attrezzata. L’arredamento è essenziale ma funzionale e i letti davvero comodi. La posizione è strategica: da qui si raggiungono facilmente tutti i principali punti di interesse della città. Un valore aggiunto importante è stato senza dubbio l’host — gentile, disponibile ed estremamente efficiente — che ci ha aiutati anche in una situazione non ordinaria come uno sciopero generale che aveva bloccato Venezia.

Può piacere o meno, ma l’appartamento si trova in una tipica corte veneziana, una piccola via senza sbocco dal fascino autentico e pittoresco. A noi è piaciuta molto!

Aicha was kind enough to re-arrange her schedule and meet us when we arrived to let us in to the property (we arrived earlier than expected because there was a train strike and we ended up hiring a car to drive us to Venice). She gave us keys and showed us how to use the air conditioners.

The air conditioners we off when we arrived and took a full 24 hours to bring the temperature of the property to a reasonable level. Two needed a hard re-boot (done by us with instruction from maintenance) and then were definitely weaker than the others and those rooms never quite cooled. We were told multiple times that if we arrived after 7pm, we would be charged a late fee, which just felt unfriendly. When we requested bath mats for the 2 bathrooms, we were told there would be a fee (turned out we did have bathmats, everyone received what looked to be 1 bath towel and one hand towel, but 2 hand towels turned out to be bathmats). There were notes in the unit saying if we did not dispose of trash there would be a fee. The stay felt more stressful than I would have liked. The common area when you entered the property was quite dirty. The dishwasher had a sign on it telling us not to use it. The unit is also on the top floor, so if you are not up for walking flights of stairs, this property is not for you.
