Fabulous property with great hosts.

Great property, spacious and well equipped with awesome open plan kitchen area. Hosts were super quick to respond to queries. We loved the hot tub & the cinema room. Easy walk into Usk although everything was closed! Lovely little treats left for the children. Private little garden. Would definitely return.

A fantastic stay in a well-equipped house with great extras, amazing hosts, and perfect spaces to relax and unwind.

Absolutely loved this house! The facilities were fantastic — the hot tub and cinema room were definite highlights. The open lounge and kitchen area was perfect for relaxing and hosting small gatherings. The hosts were fantastic at keeping in touch and made the stay extra special by allowing us a late check-out. A fab place for a comfortable and fun stay!

A few cobwebs here and there, but it didn’t take away from a great stay!

Penderi House was fine for our needs.

Plenty of parking. Well equipped kitchen. Not too far out of Usk. We were staying for our son and daughter’s wedding ( both sets of parents!) so weren’t bothered to use the hot tub and cinema room.

2nd double bedroom impractical- cant get round bed so not used. Lack of wardrobe space apart from in en-suite. No mirrors for make up and hair.

The location - the house is in the middle of a housing estate outside USK and with few taxis available, we had to walk a lot! Perfect place if you have a car. Also , no food shops within walking distance.

this property was perfect for our girls weekend, everything we could have asked for. the house itself is amazing, the fact it’s equipped with all you need just makes it even more perfect.

A brilliant home from home in a lovely location!

The house is wonderfully decorated with furnishings to a high standard. The facilities are varied and well kept. There is a combined pool table and cinema room complete with projector, beanbags and a small fridge stocked with soft drinks. There is also a fabulous private hot tub. The place is full of nice little touches, Kit Kats on the beds, a little coffee bean grinder to make fresh coffee, a massage room that you can book massages for and lots of helpful hints around the house to help you with your stay both in the house and in the surrounding areas. The hosts laid out a wonderful vegetarian grazing table for us with Prosecco on ice for our arrival. Although I have to stipulate that this is no longer a standard offering to their guests, after a slight mix up on this site, it is something they honoured without question. I have never had the pleasure of dealing with such amazing hosts before. There are good hosts and there are excellent hosts, but these guys are on another level entirely. I cannot recommend them and this house too highly! Go see it for yourself! They really know how to do hospitality right!

We loved the house and had the best time!

The house was beautiful and had so many cool features. The owners were very professional with all the instructions so we knew everything that we needed to do and how to work everything. I needed to contact them and they got back to me straight away to get things sorted. The welcome platter of food was massive and yummy! We loved the cinema room with big bean bags and the lounge was lovely too. The hot tub was great, and was already hot and very clean when we arrived. There was sky TV and Netflix in a few rooms which we enjoyed watching too.

There wasn't anything we didn't like really, we loved our stay. I'd just say that the house is in a residential area so you have to be quiet to respect the owners and neighbours. We knew we'd want a little dance, so we hired silent disco equipment and had a great time without disturbing anyone.

VWow! What a beautiful house , amazing facilities with such lovely little touches all over the house. Hot Tub was fab cinema room amazing, living room huge and comfy and plenty of bedrooms for a group to share. The communcstion was fantastic from the owner and the spread they set out for us on arrival was amazing...lasted us 2 days !!

Our stay at Penderi House exceeded our expectations - we hope to return again in 2023.

Penderi House was perfect for our family group. It is spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated & furnished to a very high standard. Children (6&8) particularly appreciated games room & being next to a small play park. 14 year old enjoyed sleeping in master bedroom (which was huge & had an en suite) plus a large screen TV. Adults welcomed use of hot tub, netflix being available to view on an extra large flat screen TV in spacious lounge & Usk market place being a 10 minute easy walk. Grazing Platter (included in rental cost) was "out of this world" & presented beautifully. I ordered breakfast delivery for 4 people only for our 1st morning & again exceeded our expectations & fantastic value for money. We ate 1 evening in Nags Head Inn & found the staff particularly welcoming, our food served promptly & would recommend their steak pie with vegetables - delicious.

Communication with owners from start to finish was excellent. However a tumble dryer would have been useful, especially when there are 7 people showering before using hot tub then using another 7 towels after using hot tub.

Fantastic house with excellent facilities

We had a great stay as female friends catching up. The house has so much space and is very well equipped. The hot tub was also very well received and part of the reason we chose the property when booking. Would recommend this property for groups and families as it caters for all.

Very good

The hosts were generous by giving us a huge platter and two bottles of wine, and good quality coffee beans with a grinder. The platter was much too big and some food was wasted. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Two comfortable sitting rooms with two big tv screens offered plenty of entertainment. The dining room table was beautifully dressed and glittering!

There were some items which desperately needed attention: a ceiling light bulb was not working and there were no bed side lamps, a toilet seat did not fit the bowl properly, and a few slits underneath a double bed came off as they were fitted wrongly. One twin bed room has no bedside tables so one can’t put a book and/or a glass of water for the night. In fact that room is only big enough for a single bed. The garden is on the small side and is sloppy.

Perfect spot to explore South Wales.

Very nice and comfortable and quiet place. We enjoyed the extras as well. And then, there is plenty to explore in the surroundings (such as the Wye Valley/river walks (from Monmouth).
