Charming Colonial Flat in historic building

We enjoyed our stay very much! The properties location was splendid, we had a wonderful view and there were many places to explore. The facilities functioned perfectly and suited our every day needs. The kitchen especially was well stocked. We owe special thanks to the owner and are eternally grateful to him for stepping in within 24 hours notice, after our original booking let us down. George quickly organised the flat, was prompt with his communication and offered great recommendations for food!

It was a bit tricky getting uphill but once we found the rear exit lift and steps down to main street, it became much easier. Any reservations about the steep incline was soon overcome by the pulchritudinous view from the balcony!

The location was perfect for our visit, in the middle of the Old Town and up a set of steps. So we had an amazing view of sunsets and moonsets, the Bay, ships, a wide sky and the water. Georgie was lovely - we never met but he was really helpful with keys, places to eat and he sent a lovely welcoming video with everything we needed to know to make the place work.

Nothing really, but if I were being really, really picky, I would have put a lamp or two in the Living Room area to create softer lighting, as an alternative to the overhead LEDs. But honestly, that's more me wanting to live there permanently and what I would do with the place!!

New build, views, WiFi , air con, shower, terrace,

Electrical panel exposed by front door, smoke detector dangling from ceiling, damp folded towels in bedroom wardrobe. Expected higher level of cleanliness . No welcome instructions : how to operate all devises, nearest shop, no welcome tea or coffee.
