Bari Skyline Terrace Apartment

Das Appartement ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet u. die Dachterrasse ist super (im Sep. war es am Abend schön sitzen). Die Schlüsselübergabe war problemlos u. Dario hat uns wertvolle Tipps zu Restaurants im Umkreis gegeben. Gute Lage zur Bahnstation zum Flughafen, das Zentrum ist in einer halben Stunde fußläufig erreichbar. Einige Bars zum Frühstücken in der Umgebung. Ruhige Gegend, eher wenig Restaurants in der nächsten Umgebung.

Abbastanza vicina al centro, raggiungibile a piedi. Buona la pulizia.

I dintorni, il fatto che non ci fosse nemmeno un grammo di zucchero, una marmellata a o un piccolo brick di latte per farsi un caffè (cosa che in molte altre strutture viene fornita…).

It is an amazing place, the most beautiful apartment i’ve ever been. Dario, the host is very helpful and kind. The terasse is huge and brilliant, with a nice view.

Short-form: The flat was exceptionally clean, charming, has got everything you could need, the balcony is absolutely stunning at sunset, and good for a bit of a chillout afterwards, and the host was absolutely the best we have ever encountered. He added me before travelling on whatsapp, to make sure we can always reach him. He recommended the best places to eat, drink, visit. When we reached out for some additional extra bits, he was always helpful and can confirm, the places he told us to visit did not disappoint. Overall, super happy with how it turned out to be! There are a lot of good things to write. First off, getting to the flat was pretty straight forward, we took the shuttle from airport, then got off at around the middle of the city, wanting to walk some way to get familiar with the city. In the vicinity, we have found cafes, panificos (bakeries), fruit stalls and a mini "super" market and a pharmacy as well. Getting to the flat, it was well cleaned, and it instantly charms you with it's cozyness. (Pro tip: At late afternoon when the sun shines in from the balcony doors, there is a huge vase covered in mirrors creating a discoball effect in the livingroom, creating this pretty ambiance.) Moving out from the flat, the "old city" centre is a 30 minute walk, but we enjoyed doing it as it led us through the beautiful roads of Bari. The central station (Bari Centrale) is a 10minute walk, so it's pretty easy to get there without a taxi. The nights are quiet, and you can be assured to have a great night's sleep as the matresses are super cushy and comfortable. Pro tip: We couldn't really find info in advance, but you can rent e-scooters via TIER and another app as well, so if you prefer, you can use them to zip around the city pretty quickly.
