Proximity to bus and train station, excellent Portugese restaurant 600 ft away (Quintena Rebelo??)
Fridge did not work, climate control locked and room way too hot. Staff were able to help with that.

We loved everything about this place. When we travel, we look for places that are close to almost everything, clean, compfy and affordable. This place had check marks everywhere. It was close to the train station, close to the metro, close to 2 grocery stores and close to a very good yet very simple restaurant. Since we are avid walkers and runners, all touristic sites were at a fairly good distance. We absolutely loved the vibe of the hotel...a combo of a minimalist/industrial design. For a couple who is 59 & 60 years old, this suited us fine. While we never used the other services of the hotel, I am sure they were excellent.
It's not that we didn't like something. We found it strange that nobody was at the front counter. Yet at the same time, we found that cool and none stressful.

Friendliness and good hearts of the personel, very helpful and with top ideas for guests suffering a severe cold and spared to bring their own umbrella 🍵🍋☔ Strongly recommending a rise!! Modernity inside and out of the place while situated relunctantly enough to not dominating the area around and getting into way of the everyday life of the locals. Next metro station to Campanha intermodal for rapid trains and busses to and from Lisboa 🚄🚍Ⓜ️
A bit less of Latte-and-laptopism would not harm the modern and welcoming impression of the place ;-)

The breakfast the design of the building and the art gallery

concrete floor in bedroom with no rugs for your feet very uncomfortable. lack of curtains. hairdryer did not work. TV was limited in stations. The hotel bar was closed on one evening and then closed on another due to a private party. This is not fair to guests the hotel bar should be available to all and at normal social times. When you are on holiday with friends you want to relax at the bar have a chat and drink and this was not possible. The breakfast was not monitored effectively so the egg was run out and not replaced for example on one morning.
