Hampton Inn Tucson Downtown, Az

All staff were excellent! Helpful, polite, and friendly. Breakfast was good and location was convenient.

In my reservation, I requested a room away from elevator, on an upper floor with view of cathedral and pool. Instead, we were assigned a room just across from housekeeping and the view was a brick wall - literally no view at all. Also, the noise from room directly above us in 419 was extrememly disturbing (sounded like furniture being slammed against a wall, pounding on floor) for hours. It began before we even went to bed and woke us up several times. We thought it was just a one off wild guest, but it continued the next day so we requested a move to a higher floor with a view of the cathedral, per my original request. Front desk staff was apologetic and happy to oblige. He was kind and courteous and we appreciated his assistance. Also, the AC was having intermittent issues, making loud noise and not cooling at times. The lobby and lounge was also having AC problems and they were working on it for multiple days.

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful! We stayed in a room where we had access to the courtyard with the pool and it was fantastic! We had a patio with chairs and a table. We loved the grounds! The breakfast was good. It wasn't a buffet... it was to-order with wait-staff and all. It was pretty good. No change in the menu from day-to-day.

The only issue was that the bathroom was quite small and the water pressure in the shower left something to be desired. Overall, a great stay!

Excellent hotel close to transit centers, post office, restaurants, museums and shops; exceptionally clean, offering robust breakfast selection, and friendly staff. My room was large, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was spacious, too, and very clean. The pool and terrace overlooking the cathedral were fantastic. There is a small shop for basic toiletries and snacks and ample lounge seating. I was satisfied with my stay and warmly recommend Hampton Inn.

Location in downtown was excellent, we could go out by foot. reakfast was above expectations. Hotel has good amenities like water, ice, and a very nice pool. Everything was clean and in a proper condition.

Reception was very unfriendly, one guy was constantly cewing gum with open mouth, one girl had earplugs and listen to music, quite amazing for such a pace und a NO GO. Very disappointing. Parking (in the hotel garage) was 20 USD per day, which is way too much. Room was large and well equiped, but noisy from the street.
