Location is great. Nice size room.
Great for a quick trip to Ortigia.

Set in a picturesque hillside location, the property and building has a rustic feel with a modern interior. The breakfast was very nice and offered many choices: breads, cheeses, meats, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt and cappuccino. The staff was very friendly and welcoming answering all of our questions about the area.
Need to take stairs to 2nd and 3rd floors. Was not an issue for us, but could be an issue for travelers with mobility issues.

This is a beautifully restored historic building dramatically lit at night, and with a commanding view over the area. Our room was large, well appointed and immaculately clean. There is lots of parking, and the property is set well apart from any others.
Lack of anyone to meet us on arrival, and the building was deserted. It wasn't obvious how to get in, or if we could get back in after going out for supper (In the end it was fine, but we propped a few doors open to be sure). Interior lighting is on time switches, which work well, but on entry we couldn't see where we were going. Breakfast was underwhelming on not served with a smile. Everything was processed supermarket food, with nothing local, contrasting with our other experiences in Sicily.
