Seaport Cottage

Perfect location literally a few minutes from the beach and coastal walk. Hosts were super helpful and friendly. Cottage was all well prepared and very comfortable. Recommended.

Really, great location, with a great host who provides nibbles and a drink for arrival and sought to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. If you have a dog the 'doggy' basket with a few essentials was a nice touch. All you could need to self cater too. The views from the cabin at yhe top of the garden were great. All round definitely a great base to explore from and come back too, with parking a stone throw away. What was not to like.

My wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable 4-night November break at Seaport Cottage, using it as a base to explore different parts of the island. We travelled by car, parking in the nearby car park (but with plenty of room to unload / load outside the front door when necessary) and we found this arrangement worked well and without difficulty. The nearest bus stops are only 5 minutes walk away, so a bus/walk visit would also have worked well. Ventnor High Street is also 5-6 minutes walk away. Seaport Cottage is clearly well looked after by its owners, who were also good communicators should we have needed them. Access arrangements for our arrival (and for departure day) were clearly explained and worked very well. The bedrooms, bathroom and lounge/dining area were also comfortable and of a good size, and the kitchen was well-equipped too. The added bonus with this lovely property is the summer house (which has light and power) in the back garden on a terrace area up some steps behind the property, from which there were lovely views out to sea. There is also a slightly larger terraced area with seating and a view situated lower down to the side of the cottage. This was a wonderful cottage to stay at, and we very much hope to stay here again.
