We loved The Granary. The owners were fantastic and couldn't do any more to make our stay better.
The accommodation was cosy and we had everything we needed.
The working farm would be of great interest to little ones.
The only slight negative was the access to the farm. I'm glad we knew it was a bit bumpy, so we brought an appropriate vehicle. But it really didn't spoil our holiday.

Very friendly and helpful hosts who helped us get unstuck and move our kit up to the Granary when the farm track was impassable. A great location on a working farm with lots of animals around, and the place was spotlessly clean with everything you need for a trip away - they'd even provided fresh eggs and wine! Well equipped with entertainments for all ages for when you're stuck inside too. Even in a January cold snap, the combination of gas central heating and a log burner do a good job of keeping the place warm, although given the energy crisis we did feel a little guilty at the amount of fuel it must have been using to do so.
Nothing significant to mark down, but be aware that the farm is up a narrow and bumpy farm track. We visited during a particularly cold snap in January and parts of the track had frozen over, making it extremely slippery to the point our car slid a little back down the track on the first day. On later days the track was passable, but in particularly bad conditions the track can be only navigable by 4x4s or farm vehicles - the first 2 days we had to park at the bottom and walk up to the farm - not a problem if you're up for an adventure but something to be aware of.
