Agriturismo Il Casone

L'appartamento era molto spazioso e fresco. La cucina ben fornita e il bagno pulito. La piscina era grande e con una bellissima vista. Luogo rilassante e con possibilità di fare una grigliata. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e disponibile. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

The flat was spotlessly clean, and the pool was excellent. All of the facilities were of a very high standard, including a dishwasher and washing machine, with the relevant cleaning products provided. The host had also thoughtfully supplied basic essentials such as oil, salt, pepper and vinegar, which was greatly appreciated. The grounds surrounding the flat were immaculate, with tremendous views of the local countryside. Despite temperatures reaching 36°C, the flat remained surprisingly cool and was much more comfortable to sleep in than other agriturismos we had stayed at. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. There was also a small shop nearby selling some lovely local produce. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

The only drawback for us was the location. Although the setting is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by wonderful countryside, we found it a little too far from the places we wanted to visit. Bologna is approximately 45 km away and Florence is around 67 km away, so visiting the major cities generally involves a reasonable amount of driving. However, this is entirely a matter of personal preference rather than a criticism of the property itself. For a large family or group wanting to rent the accommodation together, relax by the pool and spend quality time away from busy towns and tourist areas, it would be an amazing place to stay. It is ideal for anyone looking for peace, privacy and beautiful surroundings, but perhaps less suitable for those who want to explore different towns and cities every day.

Opzich niks. Maar de stortdouche was voor mijn kinderen te laag, zij moesten gebukt douchen. (Kinderen zijn 1.83-1.86 lang)
