4 Bishops Cottages

The cottage was very quaint and peaceful. The garden was lovely and private. It had a lovely kitchen and felt very homely. Bedroom very clean and comfortable, bathroom was very nice with a good shower.

The only thing was that the parking was difficult. We had to park up the hill a minute or so away .

Lovely and quiet.

The master bedroom bathroom floor was slippy even with shoes on and it not being wet. Myself and my husband both went flying.

The location was nice but 2 miles single track roads to get to it. Nice mature garden but no views. Great for walking and hiking for people with no mobility issues.

Not informed of every room being at a different level. Steps to and from every room. Very steep steps to the first floor. We took my 89 year old mother who has mobility issues and even though the ground floor had a bedroom and bathroom, she would of had to navigate the steps up from the bedroom then up to the living room then up to the kitchen to get to the bathroom. She is small, very frail and has dementia so that was out of the question. Next option 1st floor to climb about 8 very steep stairs to get to the bedroom, then step down 2 steps into the en-suite bathroom. Then to climb back up to get back into bed. We chose this option as she would at least FIND the bathroom and we could both help her stop her from falling. Sadly she did fall down the bathroom steps but fortunately she only had a little bruising. This property should advertise it's unsuitability for those with mobility issues. No parking. Found a space at the top of the hill. Even the garden was out of the question as 3 big steps down from the kitchen and 3 or more steps up to the garden.

The peaceful location afforded a relaxing stay.
