Nice but needs alot of work!

This place has lots of potential. The staff were amazing , the facilities were spacious and a very nice layout. The only thing thisnplace needs is some tender loving care. A remodel will make this place top notch. The staff and the pool was the best part of this stay.

I had a group of 10, I am a travel agent and my job was to make sure they were comfortable. Two of my guest had to change rooms. The air conditioner kept going out in one room and the mattress was like concrete in the other room. The room with the hard mattress also had bad plumbing with the shower drain constantly backing up. Im my personal room, the bathroom had a constant odor and they just left a can of spray to mask the odor. The odor seemed like it was bad plumbing or something. This issue is totally an ownership issue and had nothing to do with the staff. The staff were 1000% attentive and did all they could. The last issue, I rented the 2 bedroom suite on the 3rd floor only to get there and there were no elevators. This should be mentioned in the description in bold for sure. One last thing, you can tell the place has just been painted over , there are obvious cracks and revealed areas all over. Patch work with hidden issues. I would love to see this place after the owner invest in it.

What I was expecting for a budget hotel .. ok comfortable clean

Did not have breakfast as they do not really have a restaurant.. more like a small terrace near reception. Staff were pleasent and helpful. Pool was good.

Freash milk and tea bags not available. Very long walk down driveway to get to street.

We truly loved everything about our stay. It felt so comfortable, just like another home for us. This was only possible because of the lovely, dedicated, and supportive staff. The place was spotless, and the breakfast was absolutely the best. We are grateful for such a wonderful experience.

There were simple nice meals available - given that most people tend to want to head out & eat in cafes etc, the food was still healthy & nice. Coffee there was simple, but still nice. The 200m long walk & entry driveway was a cool highlight because of the nice shady bamboo cover, quite unique - it was a nice relief from the horrible busy polluted streets. The pool was quite nice & suited the location & the fact the place was non smoking no vaping was fantastic - there is nothing worse than having to smell disgusting selfish smokers who ruin everything, everywhere, yes that's right if you are a smoker reading this then simply STOP smoking around other men, women, children, it is extremely rude, invasive, selfish, disgusting. Your addiction is NOT a private habit & you have zero right to ruin other peoples fresh air and you are not entitled to do it at the expense of other peoples extreme discomfort. Keep your disgusting habit AWAY from other humans. Thank you Karma Sajtra for supporting normal fresh(ish!) breathable air. I chose your hotel partly for this. It is REALLY good that this hotel does not allow smoking, there is enough pollution & chain-smokers in Bali already. The gardens are nice & decorative, the rooms were a good size, comfy bed, TV worked & had some reasonable channels to watch. The bathroom was nice, in fact i liked the style so much that when I redecorate I will use some of the ideas from this bathroom, dark, intimate, clean (small light immediately above shower, with dark tiles, made it cozy and relaxing). I did bring my own pillow from Australia which I am glad because the ones in room were too big, thick - there was no range of thicknesses available. It was no hassle to bring it on the plane & made my journeys on plane and taxis plus room sleeping more comfy guaranteed. At the time, there was a bit of building noise, but that's life, it will change.

Every place I stayed at in Bali had some unusual defects or oversights (a room in Kintamani on the crater caldera edge had doors with huge gaps to outside balcony & when the wind blew, the glass doors blew in & nearly fell on the bed!! Another place in so called beautiful Ubud had white chlorine tablets strewn through the garden & granules all over paths & young men were scrubbing timber decking with raw chlorine granules!! They had no idea how toxic the stuff is & what harm it does to gardens etc, plus household rubbish & building debris littered all through the neat & well presented private + shared gardens - they just don't see what is in front of them) Many places in Bali had LARGE, HUGE pillows as some kind of normal dafault, this is not good. As I said above, I brought my own pillow from Oz & I am SO glad I did because it helped on plane & I used it in every room in Bali. Please Karma Sajtra, supply some "normal" thin pillows. One thing I found with my room at Karma Sajtra was cracks in the wooden door near the lock, large enough for mosquitos to fly through, people to see in, or potential intruders to very easily insert wire or flat steel into and activate the door handle; so Karma Sajtra if you do read this, please pay attention to finer details on doors+windows, they need to be secure, safe & not allow pests in - it can be hard work avoiding mosquitos at times & nobody wants malaria or dengue fever. Honestly I really enjoyed my stay there, it felt like home after 3 days & I felt safe, was able to rest, think, dream, relax, sleep and work happily in the upstairs room I had. Despite the building that was going on next door, it was a good, quiet stepping stone to start my first Bali experience, away from the horrible commercial rubbish, alcohol addicted, pretentious, young foreign men & women who walk around half naked & hoon around streets dangerously on mopeds.

I was disapointed by this hotel and would NOT stay here again. I find it hard to believe the good ratings having now stayed here. I actually felt mislead by the reviews and photos and ripped off given i paid $250 aussie dollars a night for family of 4. Its run down, very rough around the edges, things dont work. Terrible plumbing, doors dont close properly, noisy aircon. Walls very rough and poor paint. Squeaky bed. Hardly saw any staff or other guests so just felt weird. I felt quite sad to spend my last 2 days in bali here after the other great places we stayed in. Not their fault but lots of construction going on all around the hotel with noise well after 9pm. A long way from the best area of seminyak.

The staff as well as room, pool and location. I loved the proximity it was to everything. I stayed in room B202, especially how spacious the room and bathroom was. The hot water and pressure was on point! Also the fact the room balcony has a powerpoint there. A/c worked well too

Elegant, peaceful little hidden paradise.

I loved the room, so spacious and the bed was so comfy! Very nice bed sheets. Lots of natural light and room to relax. and daily cleaning. The pool was so beautiful also, views from my window - nice and quiet hotel, very lovely for relaxing.

I would have loved if they sold alcohol at the swim up bar / unfortunately just mocktails were available. A bidet in the bathroom would make the process of placing tissue in the bin a little more nicer.

These are just small issues but maybe food could be available a little later - maybe until 7.30pm even? There was a lot of construction going on next door but the noise wasn’t too bad. Most of the pool area was in the shade by about 3pm.

Nice ambience and beautiful hotel

The ambience and the view was spectacular! Worth your money. They provided scooter rental also with cheaper than the one in Ubud. I like how spacious and the layout of the room. The entrance to the hotel also was very beautiful.

The toilet was dirty and when showering the drain started to clogged so bad. The hotel doesnt have lift so we have to climbed three levels. The aircond doesnt seem to work. It was hot and doesnt even make the room less hot. The bed also feels like its going to collapse soon. Even changing sleep position feels like earthquake. The toilet sink is very questionable as the pressure was too high and it splashed everywhere.
