Very quiet, rural area, car parking available across the road.

Strict check in/out times, as well as breakfast. No where near to get an evening meal &/or a drink 10+ miles away. No kettle or drinks in room. No air con,

The location is great if driving through northern France and is within a short distance of Eurotunnel and ferries at Calais and Dunkerque, yet is in a delightfully quiet rural setting. The host recommended and arranged table booking at nearby restaurant which was also excellent. Easy car parking.

Breakfast, even taking in to account the type of accommodation was a little disappointing in terms of the selection of food available. This didn't detract from the stay but an improvement in this area would make the stay not just very good but excellent.

Great stop over in St Omer

I had a wonderful tea and there was plenty of selection for the breakfast. Virginie was very helpful and friendly. We arrived late due to a delay with our euro tunnel and Virginie arranged for the keys to be kept in a lock box and provided perfect instructions.

Could not wait to leave!!

We booked the venue over 2 weeks before travelling and was texted the day before arrival that only cash was accepted. We only carry cash for tolls so this caused us a major inconvenience. The key to the room was in a safe box on the outside door. Once getting the key it was impossible to open the outside door. Other guests arrived who tried in vain but eventually opened the door. The whole establishment is dark and musty not very welcoming. Opening our room it was very dated and no towels for showering etc. Luckily we had a towel in the car. No one was at the hotel to consult. Overall very disappointed and can sadly not recommend

Nice interior in bar / common areas. Inspirating selection of beers at bar. Quite close to Dunkirk, Calais, and Belgique.

Offered dinner wasn't worth its price: meat dry and various parts burnt partly. Breakfast very standard, limited choice of variety, e.g. tea, coffee, marmelade / jam, cold sausage - maybe also due to current CoV2 situation. No toiletries (shampoo, body lotion, ...) as announced. Refridgerator would be benefitial.

Heel vriendelijke gastvrouw, eenvoudig ontbijt maar voor ons voldoende. Heel rustig gelegen. Als 's avonds ter plaatste wil eten, is het belangrijk dat je dit op voorhand meldt aan de gastvrouw. De tuin kon ik ook wel appreciëren.

Eine optimale Unterkunft als Zwischenübernachtung zur Fähre. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten auch die Räder sicher unterstellen. Danke.

Der Ort selber ist kein Urlaubsziel aber die Lage dennoch sehr gut.

Un joli ancien estaminet transformé en chambre d'hôtes

Le cadre de cet ancien estaminet est très original et enchanteur. Le charme de l'ancien et de l'authenticité. L'hôtesse est avenante et attentionnée. Notre chambre, malgré l'ajout d'un lit d'appoint à notre demande, était spacieuse. Locaux propres et espaces communs agréables. Nous avons également apprécié le repas du soir pris sur place.

Peut être privilégier quelques grandes marques de produits pour le petit-déjeuner ?

Perfekter Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg zur Fähre (Calais)

Virginie ist eine sehr herzliche und sehr nette Gastgeberin 😍! Leider können wir kein Französisch - aber die Kommunikation funktionierte sehr gut auf Englisch 🤗👍! Das Haus befindet sich an der Hauptstraße, aber es ist sehr ruhig. Nettes Zimmer, alles war sehr sauber. Wir kommen auf dem nächsten Weg in den England-Urlaub gerne wieder! Virginie is a very heartily and nice person 😍! Unfortunately we don’t speak French - but the communication in English was very good 🤗👍! The house is located on the main street but is was quiet. Nice room, everything was very clean. We are happy to come back on the way to the next England vacation!

L'odeur d'humidité et de " renfermé "des lieux ( asthmatiques évitez d'y venir) Il faisait froid dans la chambre Une douchette non fixée qu'il faut garder en main pour se laver. Serviettes humides Il faisait également froid dans la piece où nous avons pris notre petit dej et dans l' estaminet également. Jus d'orange acide ( mauvaise qualité), yaourt marque magasin, café chicorée ? Pas au goût de tous. J'ai l'impression que l'établissement était fermé et que l'hôtesse venait spécialement pour nous. L'ouverture de l' estaminet est pour dans les mois à venir. À suivre ...

Prima voor een tussenstop

Zeer gastvriendelijke gastvrouw. We hadden 20 uur voor aankomst geboekt en ze reageerde snel via message. In verband met privé omstandigheden (een huwelijk) kon ze geen half pension aanbieden, maar heeft ze voor ons gereserveerd in een nabijgelegen herberg, Auberge De Snoeck. Geweldige en betaalbare keuken. We verbleven op de begane grond met niet alleen uitzicht op de tuin, maar ook privé gebruik van de tuin. Andere gasten zagen we op de eerste verdieping verblijven, zonder buiten. De accommodatie was meer dan ruim. Twee zeer grote slaapkamers en zithoek. Zeer proper en schoon.

Mijn man vond het minder dat in iedere kamer maar een eenpersoons bed stond en we apart moesten slapen. Ik vond dat geen probleem, bed was heerlijk en de kamers donker. Er waren geen glazen of bekers: Tip: neem deze zelf mee. Ontbijt was echt continentaal. Koffie daarentegen lekker, zeker voor Franse begrippen.
