⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ El Salto del Agua exceeded every expectation and was one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. This beautifully restored home perfectly blends modern comfort with centuries of history. Thoughtfully updated with every convenience, it offers three spacious bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and everything needed for a relaxing and memorable stay. VIEWS FOREVER OFF THE BALCONY- apero ready. What makes this home truly special is its incredible heritage. Raul shared that the house has been in his family for approximately 500 years, giving our stay an authentic connection to the remarkable history of Orbaneja del Castillo. It was a privilege to experience such a unique property. We were two couples both, all over 65 years young!! Raul and Marta are exceptional hosts. Marta speaks perfect English, making communication effortless, and both she and Raul are warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about sharing their beautiful home and village with their guests. She even made reservations for us for lunch and dinner. Just ask, she & Raul know everyone. She was always available. The location is simply spectacular, nestled in one of the most picturesque villages in Spain, with breathtaking scenery just outside the front door. Home is in the middle of the village, and right over a waterfall. The sound is magical and mighty, but NOT overpowering. We visited in July, not too hot. Great hiking all around without moving your car. Marta shared, its easy to visit year round, snow fall is NOT heavy and the roads are usually easy to navigate. Don’t hold back from visiting this home, village and Burgos region any time of the year. If you're looking for an unforgettable stay that combines history, charm, comfort, and outstanding hospitality, El Salto del Agua is an absolute treasure. We would return in a heartbeat. Five stars simply aren't enough!
