The stunning view was half covered with nearest newly built houses infront of property, construction site all around which is quite noisy starting 7:30 AM and till 13pm. Hosts did not inform us prior arrival about this situation which I found very disappointing. Noicy door handles- easy thing to fix, but very disturbing at night when someone going out from bedroom.

Wow. What a beautiful place Zakopane is. And this is a great place to experience it from. A spacious, luxurious-feeling villa with lots of places to rest and enjoy the scenery. In our May 4-night trip, we travelled to Kasprowy Wierch (~1hr walk to cable car), Morskie Oko (30 min drive) and Gubałowka (~40 min walk) so as long as you enjoy walking it is a good base. The area immediately up the hill from the end of the street is a lovely open field that is great to watch the sunrise/sunset - I saw deer, cuckoos, shepherds. The staff were very accommodating , friendly and helpful. Check-in/out was easy as long as you read their instructions carefully! The facilities were great and it was nice to have a filter jug and ice to be sure we had nice water. We felt constantly torn between just enjoying the place and going out to do things. The outdoors won in the end, but if it had been rainy I think we would have enjoyed staying inside. The sauna was a really nice addition too, an extra refreshing way to wind down.

Unfortunately, the pictures are outdated. New developments have been built right in front of the property, obscuring the mountain view from the living room. The balcony in the top bedroom is unaffected so we shared it as a place to enjoy the views, but it was a bit disappointing to see that at first. (Be aware also that there are new developments popping up everywhere around the property and so it will feel less secluded and quiet than other reviews suggest soon). The light switches are many, and impossible to figure out without a lot of trial and error which was only mildly inconvenient and actually amused us to be honest. Also the sauna lighting panel was faulty and they were willing to come and try and fix it but we were out for busy days and decided to just go without.
