Acropolis View 2BD Apt next to Museum & Metro

Property was located in a phenomenal spot. It was central to several restaurants and stores to include a grocery store right around the corner. Even more amazing, was the fact that it was within walking distance to the acropolis of the museum. The acropolis was beautiful when lit up at night and you could sit and enjoy the view from the balcony. The shower had great water pressure. The kitchen was sufficient with microwave and refrigerator. There was a stove as well.. it was so convenient to have a washing machine as well. There was a large balcony where you could sit and take the sites of the sounds of the street and listen to music played by local street musicians . The TV was equipped with apps such as Netflix, Disney and YouTube. The air-conditioning cooled down the place very well. I especially think the instruction manual, provided by the property management team, was well done. The property management team was readily available,frequently checking in to ensure that your stay was enjoyable.

The only small issue was the bathroom had a strange odor at times at the ceiling of the bathroom, needed some attention. 3 PM check-in was a little bit grueling, especially when the cruise ship dumps you out at seven in the morning. However, the apartment was ready at three as promised. You should know that The street was pretty popular and the music / restaurant goers were definitely audible in the evening time, however we enjoyed the entertainment. Most of the music and restaurant noise ended by 11 PM. You will be responsible for your trash, recycling and. toilet tissue paper waste removal and for us that meant walking about a block , down the street, with trash bags to get the recycling to the proper receptacle Finally, I wish the lockbox for the key was located closer to the building door so we wouldn’t have to stoop down beside restaurant patrons, while they were dining, to extract the key. But the big scheme of things — all this pales in comparison to the location, comfort, and convenience this apartment had to offer.

We enjoyed the balcony, having a washer, proximity to the metro, museum and restaurants. The balcony was a great place to people watch and rest in between sightseeing. We would return again to this accommodation in Athens!

We really love the apartment. Clean, spacious, modern. It has everything we need for our stay. Lots of restaurants and cafes. Plaka neighborhood. Not to mention excellent location, view of the old of Acropolis, Acropolis Museum and metro just across the street. Would definitely recommend the apartment to who ever want to visit Athens in the future. Thank you !

I did not receive the check-in instructions on time. The taxi driver had to call the host and get the instructions on how to open the lockbox to get the keys for the apartment. Without the help of the taxi driver, I don't think we were able to collect the keys and get in the apartment.

Location was fabulous. Apartment was great, and modern. Had everything we needed. Just lovely.

It might be a small thing, but we couldn’t find the bins on the street corners to throw away our rubbish. The nearest bin we could find was on Siggrou. Some guidance and instruction would have been good.
