I had already been in a boathouse at Lake Aluksne before, so we knew what to expect, and the expectations were fully met, including the super beautiful and warm summer evening, with warm water in the lake and amazing views from the window. We went out for a boattrip, and I surely recommend using that oppertunity to everyone who stays there. It's a place that is not just accommodation, but attraction at the same time. Lovely and cozy!

Our summers have mosquitos - so it'd be great if the owner could invest into a mosquito net on the windows or mosquito-repellent oil lamps or smth similar. We had to close the windows totally after it got dark, and it was hot... Just be aware, and bring something to mosquito repellents.
