The most incredible place I’ve ever stayed in. So quiet and peaceful, the views are incredible, the area is beautiful, the restaurant down the road is amazing. The monks live there which makes it even more peaceful. My favourite stay in Macedonia!
Beds were very stiff but everything else INCREDIBLE.

The location is truly exceptional, right next to the magnificent Monastery of Saint John the Baptist, surrounded by mountains, forests and remarkable natural beauty. The peaceful atmosphere, warm hospitality and proximity to the monastery made the stay feel genuinely special and unlike an ordinary hotel experience.
There was very little not to like. This is a place to appreciate for its peaceful setting, authenticity and connection to the monastery rather than to judge by the standards of a conventional hotel.

Excellent location if you want peace and quiet surrounded by nature. Friendly staff who are around to answer any questions. Delicious breakfast in a traditional restaurant a few minutes’ walk from the property. Very clean and comfortable rooms with high-quality furniture and bathroom finishes. I stayed there two nights, but wish I had stayed there for a month or two!

Amazing location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Fully appointed kitchen for own cooking and balcony terraced area for eating. Restaurant down the hill for breakfast (and meals throughout the day) was also great.
