It was a truly wonderful stay. Manuela and her partner took care of every detail to make us feel at home. We were picked up and dropped off at the airport, the rooms were very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious (savory or sweet, whichever you prefer). The location is great – the bus to the center of Reggio Calabria leaves from right outside the building, and the train station is a 1.5-kilometer walk away. Nearby are small beaches, a shopping center, cafes, and other small shops with everything you need. It's also a great base for exploring Scilla, Tropea, and Messina. We highly recommend it and would gladly return in the summer to try water sports.

The room is nice and clean. It included a free bottle of water and a bottle of juice. The breakfast was good — typical Italian style breakfast so a pastry and coffee. I like that the room had a balcony. The latest time to check in is 8 pm and I did not see the message from the owner about this until the day of check in. I had some issues to deal with and my train was scheduled to arrive at 8. At first it seemed to be a problem but after I explained my situation to the owner she was understanding and very kind. She and her husband offered to pick me up from the station (at no additional charge). The distance from the station to the accommodation was quite far so I am very grateful that they were kind enough to drive me.
The location is not very convenient. I did not look at where it was in relation to the train station and tourist attractions beforehand so that is my fault. After 8 pm there was nothing open nearby for food — not even a bar. Buses don’t operate at night. The mall is a few minutes walk but they were already closed by the time I arrived. Luckily there happened to be a circus in town so I walked over to it and they had a small cafe set up.

Posto così è difficile da trovare, in bene intendo, detto da chi viaggia spesso. Tutto perfetto . Host gentile, disponibile e si vede che ha la mentalità giusta di buon imprenditore.
