Great location but could be improved inside!

The location was great - it was in a quiet neighborhood, about 20 min walk away from the city center. The view was amazing looking over the river and dockyards. The balcony was a welcome addition to sit out on when it was nice weather. The apartment is very close to a food hall which I would highly recommend.

The third bedroom was very small and the 'mattress' was atrocious - it was a bit of foam that meant you sank right down into the bed frame which was very uncomfortable. I can't understand why they didn't just put a proper mattress in this room as that's what we ended up having to do anyway. The mattresses in the other rooms weren't much better. These were ROCK hard and really uncomfortable. The kitchen wasn't very well equipped - there was no towel for drying dishes, no drying rack for the dishes and only 2 dishwasher tablets. There were no oven gloves and no oven trays.

Good value for the money.

The location of the apartment was great — just a 15-minute walk to the city centre. The rooms were clean, and collecting the keys was easy. I especially liked the spacious balcony. It was also nice that there were plenty of windows letting in natural light, and the kitchen had all the essential cookware.

They should repair the plumbing in the bathroom sink — the water drains very slowly. The shower floor is also tricky. Although the floor seems properly sloped toward the drain and water flows away as expected, if the area near the towel drying rack gets wet, the water ends up flowing toward the kitchen. The silicone seal near the bathroom door suggests that they’re aware of the problem. They should also consider installing proper ventilation in the shower room.

Comfortable accomodation near the tourist attractions

The apartment building is situated in walking distance from the city centre, shops, restaurant and Gdansk stocznia. Apartment was clean and had dishwasher (including dishwasher capsules), washing machine, iron, hair dryer, two TVs, refrigerator, kettle and coffee maker.

It was possible to hear other residents listening to the music, but that is expected from an apartment building

It would be very good if beds were cleaner. I didn’t feel very comfortable sleeping in them.

Flat is on 16th floor and has a nice view at shipyard.

I didn't like the state of bed’s materace protection. It had few stains and I could feel tiny grains when touching - it seemed like it wasn't properly washed or wasn't washed at all. Bedsheet wasn't provided - only mentioned materace protection was placed on bed. Rest of linen seemed ok.

The apartment's location was quite convenient, as it was only a 10-minute walk to the city center, which made it easy for me to explore the area. I also found the staff to be very responsive and helpful whenever I had questions or concerns. Finally, the beds were quite comfortable, which made for a restful night's sleep each night. However, while I enjoyed my stay overall, I'm not entirely certain that I would choose to book Blue Mandarin again in the future. While there were certainly positive aspects to my stay, there were also a few areas that I felt could have been improved upon. Nonetheless, I would still recommend this apartment to others looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the area.

Firstly, the sink in my apartment was clogged, which I found to be an inconvenience. Although I did contact the staff about the issue and they were able to fix it quickly, I would have preferred not to have had any issues during my stay. Secondly, when I asked for extra toilet paper (as the plumber had used some during his work on the sink), my request was denied. I was surprised to learn that the Blue Mandarin does not provide any extra toiletries during guests' stays, which left me feeling somewhat frustrated. While these issues didn't ruin my overall experience at the apartment, they did detract from it somewhat.

Superb

Team staied longer in the office, so I could pick up the key. And there was issues with internet, but team kindly helped me, and sent a worker to help. I'd really appreciated it. Location os great. View from balcony is breathtaking.

Beautiful and modern but unpractical sometimes

The apartment is very modern and clean. It has a good quality and it is very comfortable, especially the bed. The building is modern and is not far away from the city center (15min walking) and a supermarket. The instructions to check in and out were clear and easy.

The apartment itself is amazing, but it’s not easy to live in, since there were a lot of things missing in the kitchen such as a kitchen cloths, a toaster, basic spices (amazing and modern spice rack but totally empty, not even salt/pepper/oil)… It was a good detail to leave pods for the dishwasher, but the same would have been useful for the washing machine, that we weren’t able to use because of this. Lastly, the bathroom is beautiful and modern, but the shower leaks water out all the time and the rest of the bathroom can get water, even through the door.

Great stay at 25 Walowa

Very nicely equipped and comfortable. Liked the availability of cooking equipment and facilities - including a washing machine, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is brilliant: accessible to the shipyard, museums, old town, shopping and transport to the coast.

No extractor fan whilst showering or cooking. Could have done with more than one key, to allow separate members of our group to go off to different places at different times.

Nice location

Was not clean, probably was never vacuumed under the bed Very small blanket, looked rather it was kid’s blanket and not adult. I expect 200x200 blanket on a double bed, this one was not more than 180x180, could not cover myself properly with this one (my height 190cm) Can’t lock shower cabin properly (door is either damaged, or wasn’t installed well) Very inconvenient that you have to pick up keys in a different location (which is quite far away from the property). Luckily we were driving, however it would be huge problem to walk this distance with a luggage on your hands

Excellent quality apartment in a decent location a short walk from the river

Clean modern apartment near a large shopping mall and several restaurants. Easy walk into the town (10 minutes to the Amber Museum). Decent size TV with Netflix, small balcony, Zabda convenience store in the ground floor of the building. Ample crockery and cutlery, plenty of wardrobe space. Plenty of mains sockets to keep all our gadgets charged. Decent size shower cubicle with riser rail. Hot water always available. Would certainly go here again.

A huge comfortable bed with bedding too small to fit properly. No toaster in the kitchen. A microwave would have been useful. Neither sink would retain water. Perhaps a sink plug is an old-fashioned idea, but wet shavers need a bowl of hot water and washing up a few items in the kitchen needs hot water retained in the sink. There was a dishwasher that we used every couple of days, but could have done with washing up a few items in between.
