Great place

Near the train station and other places such as groceries and restaurants

You have to access the key through the garage. If you dont have a car its not very practical. The smell of cigarette smoke constantly in the hallways

Short stay in Trier convenient for railway station

Simple corporate style studio adequate for 2 night stay. Near railway station.

Access was complicated and difficult despite being sent a video. In order to get in we had to retrieve the front door key from an underground car park which we only accessed because of a passing woman with key to said car park. The access to the actual flat is via a code. Needed my phone lamp to correctly key in code once we’d eventually made it into the building. Bland decor like all corporate style studios. Bare essentials only supplied so lacked that individual touch.

Nice place to stay in Trier!

Very clean, functional apartment. The bed was very comfortable! The location was good - close to the train station and an easy 10 minute walk to downtown Trier. An excellent place for a short stay.

We had some issues with the entry procedures. The instructions given were clear enough - but we misunderstood them - our fault - not the property’s.

Loved it.

Close to the river, supermarket and free (7.00pm-8.00am) parking. Loved the old place and yes it did have squeaky floors and steepish stairs but that only added to the charm. As we are in our mid 70's we drove up to the fortress and back which was a 10 min drive. The kitchen was excellently outfitted and was a big plus.

Although it didn't worry my husband and I the stairs and the fact the shower is over the bath might be a problem for someone with mobility problems.

Good place to stay in Trier.

Close to everything but just far enough away to sleep without much noise. Apartment was well kept and the bed firm, just how I like it. Comparable to a 4 star hotel. Some decent dining options nearby and breakfast at Cafe Razen (recommended by the host) was great and just a 5 minute walk.

Not much! I would have liked a little guide or booklet on where to eat out but the host recommendations where really good.

Bed was super comfortable. The apartment was perfectly renovated, with lots of attention to detail. All the appliances were modern and the kitchen was well equipped. The owner was nice, collaborative and provided very clear instructions. Free parking and very short walk to city center.

The apartment is a good one or possibly two night stay. It's quite small but well furnished & decorated and most importantly has underground secure parking with a lift to the apartment. It's about 10 mins pleasant walk to the Old Town mostly through a long park that marks where the old city walls were.

They asked for a "registration form" to be completed and left for presumably the cleaner to collect as there are no other staff This form wanted full name, address, date of birth & passport details. There is no indication as to the purpose for collecting this and no indication as to how this information will be stored and what precautions will be taken to prevent unauthorised access. I found this request extremely intrusive as this information would be a good start for identity theft & I suggest that you, like me, refuse to complete it.

Good location, spotlessly clean and comfortable apartment

Clear instructions for arrival and departure. A modern apartment, nicely furnished, very clean and comfortable, spacious wardrobe, lovely bathroom and comfy beds. We didn't use the cooking facilities but the kitchenette seemed to be well-equiped. Excellent location close to town centre and very near the station.

The underground parking entrance ramp is so steep downwards that it was impossible to negotiate it without scraping the bottom of our front bumper. The car park has very limited room for manoeuvre and there is a concrete support column in front of the parking space for the apartment we used. This made it very difficult to squeeze into the tiny parking space provided, even though our car is quite small (2019 Astra). Might be OK for a Fiat 500 or Smart car. Better still, come by train. The apartment itself is in a very quiet location (no traffic noise), but other residents of the block kept me awake until gone 3am, slamming doors, talking noisily and banging things on the floor upstairs. Light sleepers might not like the amount of light let in through and around the side of the curtains (no shutters).

We liked the location. A quick walk from the town centre and basically right next to the train station/bus stop and a large supermarket. The room was clean and tidy and the instructions given to find the key were very helpful in what could have been a very confusing situation.

While the apartment itself was nice, the building was not and the cigarette smoke that filled the halls (I do not know why people think its ok to smoke in the halls) also moved into the room and made the space smell gross like cigarettes when we were trying to sleep.

Terrible rude host, disgusting building the apartment is located in. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Nothing. Extremely rude host who demanded I pay €100 in cash as a deposit. If I refused I wouldn’t be given the key of the apartment. Had to be walked to a cash point, reluctantly handed over the money, only for it to be handed straight back the next morning when we left. Never in all my booking on Booking.com have I encountered being asked for a cash deposit, despite already having paid for the apartment in advance. Location of the apartment is in a grubby area of Trier, although Trier itself is absolutely beautiful.

Superb

Very close to the train station which meant that we didn't have far to walk with our luggage. There is an elevator , so no need to carry the luggage up the stairs. There is no noise from the train station. The apartment is within easy walking distance to the city center, for restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Water, coffee, sugar and milk provided.

Good location and Confortable apartament.

It's really comfortable. And it's 1 min from the train station and 5 min walking from Porta Nigra

The only thing that is less good is the check out time. The check out is the earliest I ever saw in a hotel or Airbnb. Normally it is at 11am and sometimes at 12pm. But I also didn't try to ask for a schedule change. But everything else was good and comfortable. The location is really good. The staff were always responsive and welcoming.

A very good place to stay even for a few days

The host waited in front of the building at the agreed time, he led us to the garage, from where we took the elevator with our luggage to the second floor. Studio modern, clean, very well equipped with everything you need. A EUR 100 deposit must be provided, which will be returned immediately on departure. Handing over the keys takes place in person at the agreed time. Free coffee and bottled water available.

Very nice studio apartment close to all attractions.

The studio apartment is brand new, very clean and has everything you may need for your stay. The location is right next to the train station and within walking distance to all attractions, the shopping area, bars, and restaurants. There is free parking in the building's garage. Check-in and check-out procedures were super easy. We enjoyed our stay at S.F.C. Apartments!
