Lovely accommodation with lovely hosts couldn’t fault it and would return again in a heartbeat

Very peaceful setback in a small village and ideal for we needed it for. we stayed here for a long weekend primarily to commute to the spa formula 1 weekend. Around 20-30mins commute it was very ideal and the nearby by town of houffalize was ideal with lovely restaurants and bars after a tiring day.

Possibly could do with an oven if was staying for a long stay but there is a hob and microwave so could cope.

It is a modern and cozy home on a calm location. The facilities are great like the jacuzzi and the terras with the roof. Would really recommend this property!

Het verblijf voldoet naar mijn mening. Enkel de temperatuur regeling viel tegen.

Het verblijf voldeed grotendeels aan mijn verwachtingen, de jacuzzi is een leuke dingetje om de avond mee af te sluiten.

De temperatuur regeling kan beter. De pelletkachel blaast alle warmte naar boven waardoor het beneden redelijk koel blijft vooral wanneer de kachel afslaat. De vloer voelde ook koud aan de voeten. Het verblijf is misschien ook niet aan te raden voor gezinnen met kleine kindjes omwille van de steile trap.

We hadden er toch net iets meer van verwacht.

De locatie is ideaal als uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen in de omgeving! Makkelijk bereikbaar en vriendelijke eigenaars. Op het eerste zicht een klein gezellig huisje met alle basisbenodigdheden: degelijke bedden, eetgerei en mogelijkheid tot douchen (direct warm water!).

Bij aankomst leek het niet (grondig genoeg) gepoetst en er was ook geen mogelijkheid om het zelf proper te maken of houden (er was bijvoorbeeld nergens een bezem te vinden, noch een aftrekker/dweil voor in de badkamer na het douchen). In de keuken was er géén vaatwasser aanwezig, ondanks dat dit aangegeven staat op de website van Booking. De frigo viel ook steeds open. Jammer van de gebrekkige afwerking van het interieur (zie foto) en de vele 'regeltjes' waar extra kosten aan verbonden zijn.

Teleurstellend verblijf

Kleine woning aan een weg gelegen. Wij dachten dat het meer hoorde bij de boerderij. Pelletkachel was wel een ding in de winter. Verbruikt makkelijk 1 zak. Er is verder geen andere kachel. Door de hoge ruimte verdwijnt veel warmte naar boven. Huis is verder ook amper geïsoleerd. We hebben fleecedeken gekocht voor extra warmte. Zakken met pellets kan je bij de verhuurder kopen, maar dan heb je dus wel extra kosten. Op oudejaarsavond begaf de kachel het. Slechte timing! Gelukkig was de verhuurder wel bereikbaar en heeft deze het opgelost. Er was een hottub. Daar zat best veel chloor in. Helaas ging ook deze in storing. Al met al, was het geen comfortabele week vakantie en met sneeuw en kou buiten, wil je het wel warm hebben binnen.

plezier maak je zelf ongeacht de omstandigheden.

we zijn er geweest als de temperatuur tussen de -5 en +3 graden was. de enigste verwarming was een pelletkachel, dus minstens 1 zak per dag nodig om het een 20 graden te krijgen. dit omdat het plafond half open was zodat je de bovenverdieping kon zien. alle warmte ging dus naar boven. in de keuken hing een klein elektrisch radiatortje dat de eigenaars op afstand konden bedienen. in de badkamer was ook een airco gehangen die ook verwarmde, maar viel telkens na enige tijd uit, zodat het koud was als je wou douchen. we hebben telkens gaan kijken of dit nog warmde voor we gingen douche, maar het toestel kreeg het niet voldoende warm. dit huisje is perfect als je in de zomer komt of als de temperaturen minimum 15 graden zijn.

Alles wat we nodig hadden : een rustige buurt en heel net en gezellig huisje met het nodige comfort

Heel goede persoonlijke ontvangst. Het was al lekker warm binnen bij aankomst. Hygiëne is top , alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Bij problemen zijn de eigenaars direct bereikbaar en behulpzaam. Door ziekte jammer genoeg vroegtijdig naar huis moeten gaan maar de eigenaars waren zeer begripvol.

Gezellig klein huisje. Leuke tuin voor de hond. Hot tub is de max. Overdekt terras zodat je altijd kan buitenzitten. Ook als het weer iets slechter is.
