Nona's House

Nonas House has a fantastic outdoor space with lovely shaded seating areas, lots of space to move your sunbed about and a great sized pool. It is close to the main strip of Kalamaki and for adults a quick 10 minute walk to get to the bars, restaurants and little shops. As other reviews had pointed out it is on a main road that can be busy with no pavements and so we hired a car due to having a young child and being pregnant. This made it a quick 2 minute drive to the main Kalamaki strip and each night there was always a space to park somewhere along the road and there is parking in the drive right next to the Villa which is great at feeling like your hire car is secure at all times. Although on a main road it was quiet at night and we hardly noticed the traffic during the day. It also feels very private as it is above road level and so you are not overlooked and has lots of lovely trees around. And as many parts in Kalamaki you can see and hear the planes landing and taking off but it never bothered us as we quite liked to watch to see what planes had landed and living close to an airport at home didnt make this an issue at all as we were used to airplane traffic. Overall we had a lovely stay spending everyday at the pool and using the different outdoor seating areas. The villa had an overall feel of visiting a family home where everyone could come together to make lots of new greek memories. Also Alex is very helpful at running through the villa when you arrive and is happy to stay in touch as he only lives next door for any other questions you might have.

I cant fault anything about our stay at Nonas house. It was a fantastic week away.

locatie was top en het huis zelf met het zwembad is ook perfect. de host is ook heel vriendelijk en is telefonisch goed te bereiken. binnen 5/7 minuten was je bij Kalamaki waar je terecht kon voor eten, drinken etc.

Huge outdoor area, wonderful pool and a spacious, cool house that had everything we needed.

Goed vriendelijke aankomst met goede inleiding van het eiland en de villa. Alle ruimte voor ons zelf en groot zwembad met veel meubels om te relaxen. Heel relaxed en goeie contact met eigenaar, hij was heel aardig.

Niks, alles viel ons mee, ook de taxi prijzen waar we bang voor waren vielen heel erg mee.
