Everything was wonderful!

Great bed and bathroom. Everything was finished to a high quality, you could really tell the owners had put a lot of love in to the property.

It’s a little frustrating putting dogs on leads as the owners have cats but this is stated upfront and is a minor inconvenience really.

It’s a beautiful country house that has been lovingly renovated. We were warmly welcomed and our room was just as it is in the photos, especially important whilst travelling with our child. We all slept soundly in the comfy beds and loved the breakfast made with locally sourced produce, jams hand made by the owners and fresh French bread. The location was perfect for our journey through France (with plenty of space to park easily) and we’re grateful for the owners kindness throughout our stay, they couldn’t do enough to help us.

We stayed here on our return trip from the south and it was the perfect peaceful stopover. The location is a bit remote from the Macon town centre, but it's in a lovely setting, is very quiet and it's a beautiful building. The room we had was great and it had the most awesome shower! Breakfast was good and we'd be happy to stay again. As a slight side note, if you're planning to eat in Macon, I can highly recommend Les Copains d'Abord - it's a simple place, but the food was excellent, it's family friendly and the waffles were to die for!

To be honest, the bed in our room was a bit soft for my liking, but no great shakes. Other than that absolutely nothing - it's a lovely place with very friendly and accommodating hosts.
