Very peaceful, easy to find, larger than expected. Hot tub was lovely. WiFi worked great. Property heated up quick.

Cozy accommodation. Has everything you need. Quiet location perfect if you want to get away from it all. Elgin is 20 minutes away for shopping and there’s a lot of nice walks nearby. The hot tub is wood fired but was simple enough to use. Just keep feeding it wood. It was -4C and it still only took 2 and a bit hours.
The doors are sometimes difficult to close but honestly it’s a minor thing.The tv didn’t seem to be connected to anything but again this is minor, if I wanted to watch tv I would have stayed home. Bring a book or there’s a few DVDs if you’re desperate.

Hot tub was a nice facility, even though an additional charge was made for the logs.
Dishwasher useful.
Bed linen and towels clean and fresh smelling.
Bed was very uncomfortable. Electric blanket on bed, with the chunky plastic controls on the left side meant it was unavoidable to lie on them. We removed electric blanket, only to find the sheet had two holes in it.
Dirty cutlery in drawer. Chipped mugs in cupboard.
No wine glasses available.
Overall this property felt very tired and in need of some TLC.
