Pure luxury

This is the most perfect accommodation I have stayed in. Our stay was exceptional. The bed was comfortable and there was everything you could want. If you want to stay in pure luxury this is the one. Congratulations to Veronica and Mark who have put in so much thought to a comfortable stay

Best accomodation ever with a lovely host

This was probably the best self contained accomodation we have ever stayed in. Spacious, with so much thought given to every little thing you might need from generous breakfast supplies to heated towel rails in the bedrooms to tissues in the bathroom a washer and dryer and so much more. We loved the thoughtful design of the bathroom/laundry and the kitchen and the tasteful decor with a hint of Africa. Our host, Veronica was a lovely person and made us feel very welcome. The location was superb, walking distance to a lake, and the delights of the town. Cambridge itself is a delightful town with elegant tree lined streets and an abundance of shops and eateries. It made a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. Hamilton gardens , Woodlands Garden, Waitomo Caves , Hobbiton and even Rotorua easy day outings. Our 5 days there was not enough. I highly recommend this place if you want a quiet, comfortable place to stay in an excellent location.

The breakfast was great. All the little touches were fantastic. The heater was on when we arrived so a nice warm room. Very comfortable.

Simply The Best

This accommodation was superb. Helpful, friendly, and unobtrusive hosts. Ideal location..An easy walk to town. The facilities are top class, including the bathroom, bedrooms, kitchen, and lounge. Breakfast continental and in room for whenever you want. Great value for money - simply the best.

The shower temperature changed if tap/s were turned on elsewhere. This was not a problem for us, however.

Excellent, Comfortable and homely.

House was very very clean - Felt like we were at home. After 2 weeks travelling and staying in various Air Bnb and Motels Hotels... This property stood out as being thoughtful of the guests. Its was lovely to be using appliances that weren't "Its cheap enough"... Quality Washing Machine & Dryer, Oven, Fridge... Proper not cheap run of the mill accessories throughout the property. Thoughtful notes on where to find things like toast, and a good selection of Breakfast condiments.

Outstanding BnB option in Cambridge

Very comfortable accommodation presented at a very high standard. Great location within an easy stroll of town centre. It's worth noting that there are some more options for cooking other than those described in the listing e.g. electric frypan provided. Hosts were friendly and responsive. Would stay again!

Amazing!

It has everything you ever need during your stay. Car park right in front of the door was helpful.Absolutely spotless.The local is perfect, close to town centre, a cafes/restaurants in walking distance. Great place to stay !!! Highly recommend !!!

Best we have ever stayed in. Great handy location, clean and tidy unit and lots of lovely little extras that showed the hosts knew what they were doing ( courtesy umbrella, shaving mirror in bathroom, teapot, decent sized mugs etc etc)

Roomy and clean accommodation with friendly hosts. Close to town

Liked living area and bedrooms. Handy to town and restaurants. Everything was very clean. Enjoyed having 2 bathrooms.

TV wasn’t working when we arrived. Host came and attempted to fix this but we were still unable to get tv3 or Netflix. Flusher wasn’t working properly on toilet. This is not the name of the bed and breakfast. It is actually Salama or Hansel and Gretel. Could only locate through address and impossible to contact direct.

Overall this was a very pleasant, well presented, extremely clean, comfy space and so handy to town

A lot of attention to detail given for the comfort of guests such as heated towel rails in the bedroom and heating in each room and was very well supplied with little extras in the kitchen area if we needed to prepare food The hosts were helpful and available for anything we needed and respectful of our privacy Very clean, and the very nicely presented trays of breakfast was an added bonus Shops and places to eat were just a short walk into town Lovely outlook from the bedrooms over the beautifully kept garden out the back

Being a light sleeper unfortunately was kept awake by a bit of noise from squeaking floorboards above our room from movement upstairs at night Also was some light flashing from smoke detectors in the bedroom which interfered with sleep a bit

Mark and Veronica’s guest suite was everything and more than we could expect. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

We like EVERYTHING about this property. The care and attention, the hosts Mark and Veronica, have gone to, to provide a warm, cosy and comfortable stay is outstanding. Communication was fast and helpful. The beds comfortable and the linen impeccable and with the added bonus of breakfast provided, we could not have been happier with our stay.
